This place is awesome. Came here for the 1st time with co-workers over a year ago, n I'm now a faithful patron. Friendly wait staff, great bartenders, and the drinks are never watered down. My waitress knows my name, my fiance's name, what we drink, and is always sociable. I've put a lot of my friends onto this place, and we go regularly. Matter of fact, I'm writing this review on my way to pick one up so we can go there now. If you had a bad experience here, id reccomend giving it another shot. The crowd is nice, and mature, and friendly also. If you only have bad things to say about this place, you may have gone to the wrong one. SHERLOCKS RULES!!!! more

For the longest time it seemed like Sherlocks was the only option in the area. It is a good bar all around. Nothing really special about it, but they do have good crowds and decent live music at times. It has a little character to it and I like it more than some of the restaurant bars in the area or the other choice which is a few bars that just seem to be trying too hard. I used to love this bar, I always had a great time and great service. Sunday night though all that changed. My girlfriend and I both got our jackets stolen off of our table. A guy was walking by with my girlfriends jacket in his hand when I said something about it and grabbed it to look at it, he pushed me off and left. It was definitely her jacket. The managers then treated me like I was in the wrong while this guy got away scott free. I was very upset and was trying to talk to them and instead of taking care of a good customer and listening to what I was saying they kicked me out and called the cops while the thieves got away with our things. I am very insulted and embarrassed by the way that I was treated by people I have been supporting for quite some time. Any place that treats good customers like criminals and criminals like saints is not a place I would recommend to anyone. Why is everyone slamming my neighborhood happy hour joint? My co-workers and I have standing happy hour date every Thursday at Sherlock's. Wouldn't change locations for the world. We always get great service. Huh, maybe because we are nice? I was here last Saturday ( a little too late) and had a blast with the band. Have no idea who it was, but who cares? Good drinks, good friends and good music. AND - no freakin' cover! Pros: no cover more

This place is really bad due to horrible management, horrible bartenders, and extremely horrible door guys. The crowd here is very anti-social as well. The crowd they draw and the personnel they hire to run the place are terrible. I now truly understand where the term ""north dallas cheese"" came from. Cons: everything more

I do believe they serve the beer with water! the shots are not the brands you ask for unless you stand in front of them and watch them poor... i also have noticed that hot chicks like myself are allowed to drink till we can no longer walk, but the ugly or men get arrested after one too many, therefor i am sure there will soon be a discrimination suit... but who cares- lots of trashy super drunk chicks, and lots of gay broke dudes!!! how much more fun can it be...oooh! watch out for the slanted cops in the addison area! lisa Pros: terrible Cons: even more terrible, lame cover bands! more

do not go here if you want to have just a drink. either get drunk and get kicked out or don't drink and still get kicked out for the fact other people around might be drunk! this is the most terrible excuse for a bar that makes money hand over fist for meat marketry than anyone has seen, but beware the "" NO DRINK "" must ""BE DRUNK"", policy that follows..... you will be treated like trash with sherlock's management and addison cops for no absolute reason!!! without any drink in your system! come sober, do not order food, but be with friends who enjoy, and be considered a convict!! what better way to end a night than be hauled off to jail for no reason but being silly around other people!!! as far as i know it is still legal to be sober!! This place has everything! Great Menu and not expensive at all for what you get. Great selection of Beer. Its a great place to meet people or just hang out with your exisiting friends and play pool, darts, or golden tee! ANd to top it off, they have live music every night and it doesn't cost to get in. ANd great looking people there too! I have a balst every time I go there! Pros: Inexpensive, Lots 2 do, drink/eat, Great crowd! more

So, I'm in town for business and my friend who lives in Dallas, ask me to go to Sherlock's with her for Happy Hour! It's a Wednesday night and the place is packed!! We drink up on the $1.25 (bigger than just pints) beer and mingle our way around the room! Oh, and we had to dance a little considering not many places have live bands on Wednesday nights without a cover charge!! We definitely had a blast! And the next time I am in town, I plan to visit Sherlock's again! Did I mention the chicken strips are awesome? Pros: Cheap Beer, Live Band, No Cover more
