I have taken my animals there for years, wouldn't trust my horses with anybody but Dr. Steward more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. They were told a family pet of mine was too sensitive for an average dose of medicine and they killed her by overdose! She was going to get her back claws removed. They were negligent and didn't listen to their costumer's needs for the pets as individuals. Please don't take your animals there. We are now morning a very loved family pet. more

I take my animals to Shawnee Animal and have for years. I use them for my horses and my dogs and cats. I have never had a bad experience at their office. The first time I walked in, the receptionist treated me like she had known me for years and made a point to come out from behind the desk to meet my dog. The techs are very caring and gentle with the animals. They always had an answer for my questions and gave me a bunch of things to read on (homework if you will) concerning heartworms, their shots and training for my new puppy we got a few months ago. I love the veterinarians at this office. Dr. Mike has always got a smile and a handshake for me. Hes a down to earth guy who treats you like a friend. I fully trust him with any of my pets and anything else for that matter. Dr. Bellinger is just as awesome. He was very informative and caring. Even when I was freaking out about nothing on an emergency at 4:00 in the morning, he was as nice as could be and took great care of my cat. I go nowhere else and I dont believe I will! more

They did not answer my calls for an emergency for 1 hour and then did not come to meet me at the hospital for another hour and acted like it was not worth their time. This was the small animal doctor at the time. I believe that it was Scott. It has been a year ago. more

The Shawnee Animal Hospital is a great place to take you animals. I'm so thankful I can take my pet rat there. They are not expensive either! The only thing I don't like about Shawnee Animal Hospital is that are to far away from me. I live in Midwest City!(; more

everyone at sah is very compassionate and caring. we have had several dogs over the years. they have always been wonderful with us. always kind and understanding when you have to call in as an emergency. we would recommend them to everyone who cares about their pets large and small. more

I have two very rowdy dogs. It seems they are always getting into something or needing to see the Vet. The people at SAH are always caring, concerned and always have time for them. Even if I call 50 times a week to ask the silliest questions they stop what they are doing and help. My animals will NEVER go to another vet but these guys. Thank you SAH for being great people! more

Very rude from reception to doctors. Maybe they prefer livestock. For pets, horribly uncaring people. Cons: Plenty more

I would recommend this to everyone who is looking for quality vet care at a price they can afford. My whole family gets care for all of their animals here and none of us have had a bad experience. The staff is very courteous, confident, and helpful. Definately worth a drive. Pros: quality affordable care Cons: country style clinic, not high class if that is what you're looking for more
