Shapiro Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

I had an implant exchange and breast lift with Dr. Shapiro. He also performed a fat transfer to my lips. Even though these procedures were done just about a week ago, on September 9th, I feel amazing. Dr. Shapiro is the only one I had a consultation with, but I read all of his reviews and articles online about him. So when I finally met Dr. Shapiro in person, I knew he was the perfect fit for me. I love the way my breasts look now. They are really full and natural looking, without have a fake affect, which I worried about because I’m thin and don’t have a lot of body fat. Dr. Shapiro is so low-key, and doesn’t talk a big game, but he shows you how good he is through his work. I have already recommended him to my girlfriends. more

I had a neck lift with scar revision, facelift, and fat transfer on September 2nd. I actually work with plastic surgeons, so I was familiar with Dr. Shapiro’s work. It is truly the best I have ever seen. Ever since my first consultation, the staff made me feel comfortable. The best part are the results from my scar revision. Since I’m 60 years old, and my daughter is getting married in two weeks, I didn’t want to look too wiped out. On April 18th, I came from Long Beach, California. I had a Mastopexy and implant exchange with SAL. My dress will show a lot of chest, so I thought this was the time to do it. I had a preceding facelift procedure with Dr. Shapiro, so I was calm. I did additional research, but I knew Dr. Shapiro was the one to do my body sculpting too. I had a mini abdominoplasty, liposuction of my abdomen, with my flanks and transfer of fat to my butt. I also had a breast augmentation with a left periareolar lift. I chose Dr. Shapiro because of his great 5 star reviews. Experienced the absolute best consultation I could have ever wanted! I felt great about my choice initially. He took the time to sit with me, look at my concerns in a mirror etc. On the day of surgery his office called to ask if I could come an hour early. I could not as I lived out of town and was traveling to be there at our originally planned time. When I got there for pre surgery prep he seems short with me and rushed. I figured this was his surgery day nervousness? Following surgery these are the complications I have experienced. 1. A hole opened behind my ear where he had sutured. I am still waiting for him to repair this hole.2. The skin on my neck appears loser than before surgery from before and after pics I have taken, with large lines and a big dimple under my chin the skin does not lay smoothly or naturally. 3. I now have a large double chin when I tilt my head downward even slightly.4. I have met with him several times over the last 8 months to discuss concerns. He is dismissive, defensive and down plays concerns. I regret spending over 10K on this surgery as the results are not what I expected! He has a beautiful office but beware his staff does not communicate well even with eachother. I had expressed my concerns to his nurse on several occasions and when calling to discuss further she would indicate that she did not remember the conversation and had not made any notes about the concern in my chart. My neck had very minor sagging prior to surgery that I wanted to correct. People normally guessed me to be 10 years younger and I wanted to do this surgery as more of preventative to keep from getting worse. I will most likely need additional corrective surgery in the future but I will not return to Dr. Shapiro for this correction. I work in the heatlthcare industry and am very disappointed with the results and how my concerns have been treated. more

I had a breast augmentation and an abdominoplasty in October with Dr. Shapiro. He was just great, a very professional doctor. He came highly recommended by a friend of mine. I had twins, and was trying to recover, so I decided it was time to see a surgeon. The best part about this experience is that I did something for myself. I had a breast reduction with a SAL of lateral chest on May 4th, in Dr. Shapiro’s office. I love him: his personality, the way he speaks with patients. I had been suffering with a lot of backaches and neck pain over the years, so I decided to have the breast reduction. I have been very happy so far and would recommend Dr. Shapiro in a heartbeat. I saw Dr. Shapiro for a facelift, interior hairline browlift, upper blepharoplasty, fat injections, periorbital lips, jawline and nasolabial folds, and a full-face erbium. These were performed about February 18th. Originally, someone I know had mentioned Dr. Shaprio’s office, so I went online and double-checked his credentials. I would recommend him to other patients looking for the same procedures. Dr. Shapiro is very kind and a quality physician. I’m a registered nurse, so I know a good physician. My recovery was pretty uncomfortable at first, but this was because I had the erbium done the same time as the facelift. After the first few days, I’ve been fine. I’m looking like myself again. more

They greet you as you walk in the door and then take you back right away. So, it’s been a very, very nice experience. I wasn't happy with my body. I've tried exercising, heavy lifting, squats and I still didn't get the results that I desired. So I turned to Dr. Shapiro for help. I had the VASER liposuction on my abs, flanks, and back with fat injection to the buttocks. This whole journey has been amazing. I felt confident that I was in the right hands with Dr. Shapiro. If you’re considering Dr. Shapiro for any type of facial surgery, I recommend you take the jump and just do it. Don’t be worried or scared; he’s an expert that knows what he’s doing. I’m 38 and I noticed that my face was aging and hollowing and I didn’t want to get fillers. I had a trans-conjunctival blepharoplasty with fat transfer to mid face and cheekbones. I looked online and saw that Dr. Shapiro was the most skilled surgeon in my area for facial plastic surgery. My favorite part of the results is that it looks natural; no one has mentioned anything to me about plastic surgery which is great. The recovery was a little more than I expected. I was definitely very swollen the first few weeks but without pain, but it was worth it. Dr. Shapiro is a very good surgeon and I am confident in his expertise. more

I had the breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, cheek lift, canthopexy, and a blepharoplasty done with Dr. Shapiro and it was extremely worth it. Not only do I look better and feel younger, but I also feel happier. I saw him on TV so I decided to get myself operated with him because I thought it was a good idea.
