These guys are the best. They never make me feel guilty for needing work done. They have the best cookies. They fix things when they're little, before you need a root canal (I never want one of those). And everyone is happy. Who knew going to the dentist could be fun? more

I visited this office based on a high recommendations from friends even though there were a few bad reviews here. I am glad I did! Sometimes the reviews only represent people who don't ""get"" it. Shamblott is an amazing place to go. They got me in the same day I called. They were able to start my work the next day. They were very clear about the insurance options, what my insurance would pay and what it would not cover. I was prepared for my bill before I saw it. Before I had the work done, I called three other clinics nearby and this was the lowest estimate by far. They took care of small problems that have been hurting me but other dentists only wanted to ""watch."" I'm in pain, why do we have to watch anything? Make it better! 24 hours after calling I was feeling no pain and happily returned to work that afternoon. My co-workers couldn't believe the change in me. I can think, talk, and work without pain for the first time in months. Thank you, Shamblott Dentistry. You are the best. Oh, and they have really nice people at the desk and the dentists were both smiling and happy and they were just nice and cared about me as a person, not just as some teeth. more

I agree this place is terrible.After waiting in severe pain 5 days for an ""emergency appointment"" i met the cold receptionist, and was told because i did not have dental insurance i would have to pay IN FULL UPFRONT for any procedure. After taking my x rays and prodding and poking at my very sensitive gums The still cold receptionist showed me the ridiculous bill of over 2,100$.Mr Shamblott then refused to give me a prescription to ease the pain. I Left in more pain than i came and nobody on the entire staff even acted like they cared i was in pain.Go anywhere else but here more

I was a listener of 107.1 and was so disappointed. I used Dr. Shamblott office because of the radio ad. Being fearful of a Dentist is a real feeling for alot of people. I was one of them. Since this experience, I have not seen a dentist, I relived every feeling I had as a child. Not only was the experience painful, I went back and forth over a 4 week period, but I got an infection, and could not even get the Dentist office to call me back. My own doctor stepped in to prescribe medicine. I paid a higher price than any other quote I had gotten and even after I complained about the service I received no compensation for the poor follow through. Still today the tooth is not ok, one side has a larger gap than the other side. I would never recommend this office or the radio station which I no longer listen to. more

Dr. Shamblott has assisted me in getting expert dental care. After wearing braces for 4 years and then cosmetic dentistry, I began to experience severe problems with my jaw and teeth this summer. I live in Scottsdale, AZ and Dr. Scott, a good friend of my son, reviewed my case from records I sent him and determined that that the dental care that I was receiving was below the acceptable standard of care. Dr Scott, took time out of his busy schedue to evaluate my case when I visited Hopkins over Thanksgiving. As a result of his analysis and evaluation, I have found a team of Specialists assiting me in restroring my mouth. Dr. Shamblott is the pivotal person who is guiding me through the process, He has also brought to my attention that my previous dentistry was the cause of my problems. He is my 'Knight in Shining Armor"" and his patients are fortunate to a have such an exceptional dentist who looks out for theIr best interests. I called with a toothache and they got me in the same day. I had to wait, but they told me I would and my regular dentist said it would be two weeks before he could see me! When I checked in everyone was nice and friendly. They treated me like family, even though it was my first visit. It turns out that I had cracked a tooth. Dr. Shamblott explained my options and let me decide what I wanted to have done (and how much I wanted to spend). He explained the risks and advantages of each option. I decided on a crown. Molly helped me figure out my insurance, and she was really patient. After I made my appointment for treatment, I checked around and discovered they charged less than every other office I called for the same procedure! I am so grateful to Ian & Margery for sending me to Dr. Shamblott. UPDATE 1/13/12: I brought my son in to see Dr. Shamblott this week. He was gentle and caring with him. My son actually wants to go back to the dentist! Why? He got to ride in the chair, have his teeth's pictures taken, get his teeth counted, and then got to have shiny teeth. AND he got a free toothbrush - he thought it was great. A far cry from my first appointment as a kid, when I was scarred for life and never wanted to go back to see a dentist ever again. more

I contacted this clinic for a tooth extraction. They claim to be a safe place for people who have a fear of going to the dentist. Not only are they rude, their prices for extractions are higher than any other dentist I've consulted! I would look elsewhere if you're looking for a good experience. Cons: Doesn't live up to their website! more
