They came on Wednesday to check my GE refrigerator. The tech guy was great, he was right on time, and gave me an excellent price on replacing the fan. It was a wonderful experience and i will definitely call them again. more

The repair tech arrived on time and seemed to be well informed about the issue and what it might take to repair it. He diagnosed my air conditioner pretty quick and clean.He replaced the condenser fan motor and my AC was working again! Overall i'm really satisfied with their services. more

Shalin plumbing is a fraud 12/31/2010

I would NOT recommend this service to anyone as this business is one man show and the merchant is a fraud known in Boston area. I called him to get the service for my faulty heating system and he asked me for the credit card number over the phone so he could charge $100 in advance and he said this amount will be adjusted once he diagnose/fix my heating system. When he arrived we found that heating system is alright and the issue is with only battery of thermostat. He asked another $50 dollars which I gave him cash. Once he went back he charged another $150 on my credit card without my authorization. So I end up paying $300 and he didn't gave me any receipt. Fortunately my credit card company took care of this fraud company. I can't stress more that I would NOT recommend Shalin plumbing to anybody. more

Reasonable Charge 10/19/2010

I was in a desperate rush for a plumber because my bathroom sink faucet wasn't working. I found Shalin, Stoneham Plumber through searching their reviews, and we first did a telephone 3-way with my dear landlord -- who is tanning in Maui as I write this, to get permission for them to work. This was really helpful in eliminating any questions on my landlord's part, because we're all at least in the same page, and I'm happy my problem was attended to by a professional. Andrew did all the work in less than 3 hours, which really helped free up the rest of my day off. I was given a 4 hour window by another plumber just to show-up, and my hot water dispenser wasn't even going to be installed the same day. Even my landlord is miraculously happy because the plumber's charge was reasonable and all the work is backed up by a warranty more

Good Communication 10/19/2010

Stoneham Plumber came to my house to look at our water heater and give me an estimate. I wanted a tank less water heater and so this was ordered and we made an appointment to come back the Monday after it was supposed to come in to do the work. While working on the heater he noticed another small part to the pipe that needed to be repaired. He did not charge me for that part because he didn't add it into the original estimate. (very honorable) He was very professional and polite. He also had very good communication, leaving messages on both my home and mobile phone with updates as we were waiting for the heater. more

Water Heater Installation 10/19/2010

Fantastic Service, they were prompt, clean and very professional. Took the time to explain all work and charges before doing anything. Took extra time to go over some general best practices and showed me some things that I should know as a new homeowner. Gave me options for different warranties, showed me a few things to watch out for in the future and gave me simple, maintenance tips for things that I can do myself. A nice thing was some work that he did that would save me money on future repairs. I am not very experienced with working with plumbers, so I can't speak to pricing, but the service was fantastic. more

They were excellent. Patric, our plumbing tech., evaluated my situation, identified needs I was not able to articulate, and came up with an action plan that served my current and future needs. Water heater replacement in Stoneham Ma 10/14/2010

Plumber came on time, was polite, gave me an upfront quote. I had hot water after two hours. They even disposed of my old tank for free. Highly recommend to anyone for any job. more
