Excellent! 6/21/2006

I never ate here when it was called Seoul Kitchen, but I visited the other day and I can tell you that this place is unique for Boston. The new owners come from southern California, an area known for its excellent Korean food. I am told that Korea Town in LA has some of the best Korean food, even better than Seoul. I don't know that myself, but I can tell you that the food at Seoul Garden is fresh, healthy, has no MSG, and tastes like some of the best food I've had in Korea Town, LA. I had the Soon Do Bu Jige and it was very tasty. I was thrilled to find this place and can't wait to go back. All the side dishes are made in house, which is another added bonus. If you like Korean food, I think you will love Seoul Garden! more

Now Called Seoul Garden 4/22/2006

This restaurant is now called Seoul Garden (as of April 2006). Don't know if there is new ownership or what, but the menus look like they were newly printed. Very hopping on a Saturday, including a majority of Korean or other Asian patrons. Like other Korean restaurants, they bring a whole bunch of little side dishes along with your order. They seemed a little understaffed, and the poor waitresses were running around trying their best to keep up with everything (and apologizing for everything taking so long). Our appetizers came along with the meal -- not sure if this is always the case or if only because it was so busy. Dumplings are quite good and clearly homemade. Bi Bim Bap could use more meat, but is good otherwise. They have a lot of different dishes that come in stone pots or in casseroles heated over a table grill. The staff is very good at explaining dishes to you. Water comes from filtered water. Moderate prices. more

Excellent food, homely atmosphere 8/12/2005

This place has great food. I've gone there twice already. One nice thing is that there is parking in the back of the building. One thing to remember though is that Seoul Kitchen is closed on Mondays. The portions were good. Food was great. Service was also good. Overall, great place if you are looking to get some Korean food. more
