Senior Home Assistance provides a variety of support services for elderly residents. Employers undergo a good background check and perform everything from errands every now and then to daily sitting services. The idea is to help seniors who are able to live independently stay in their homes. If you're down in your back and can't mow the yard for a few weeks, this agency can probably help you. Fees are charged on a sliding scale and you do have to meet some guidelines - like being elderly. I don't think they have income guidelines. If you're wealthy, you'll pay more by the hour, though. The service is a non-profit organizations and it would be a good organization for scouts and other groups to be involved with as far as community service projects.
