Good: We were able to use Scripps medical centers in San Diego and Encinitas using the less expensive Secure Horizons medigap plan that Secure Horizons San Diego suggested. Same great services - but less money, which is great.. Bad: Secure Horizons through AARP and United Health Care don't advertise that you can switch to the less expensive plan - which is why you used a Secure Horizons certified consultant.. Improvements: No improvements - great service and no extra cost to switch plans.. Other: Doug at Secure Horizons San Diego was great. Took his time to research our situation and made sure we could get access to the Scripps facilities we wanted to use before we made the switch..
