This is an awesome store. They have great prices on ALL items. They are really kind and courteous. They do the best they can in a slow economy. They obviously can't please everyone, but those are the ignorant ones who have to find something wrong with everything. I really appreciate them opening this business especially in two locations. I am always welcomed warmly when I enter the store and they are always very friendly. I have never found anything wrong with any of the clothes or toys in the store. They are upbeat and have great fashioned clothing. \r Selling clothes there is very easy and they are very respectful. They do the best they can and I love this store. I will keep going here until my children don't fit in their clothes and I will recommend them to EVERYONE!!! more

Love it! I have been to Second Generation Kids many times and have always had great service. I have sold many items as well as purchased items and I think that the amount given and the prices charged are extremely reasonable. I have always found name brand items that are in the best condition great prices here. I normally buy Gymboree, Justice, and Children's Place items and they are so much cheaper here and are practically brand new. If you have shopped at stores like Gymboree, Justice, or Children's Place then you know how expensive they can be. Second Generation Kids offers great brands at great prices and the store doesn't feel like a used clothing store. It's a beautiful store and I know that the quality and value I am getting is unbeatable. I love this store and will be back. more

Insulted 6/15/2010

I was at the North Olmsted store on Sunday, 6/13/10 with a 3:00 appointment, two large department store shopping bags filled with girl's size 7/8 clothes, several dresses, Halloween costumes and a box of shoes/boots. I was offered $30 store credit for a large store bucket of girl's size 7/8 clothes and two Halloween costumes and 5-6 pairs of shoes/boots. I had my 10-year old daughter with me and, after waiting 1 1/2 hours for the saleswoman to go through my stuff, she found two shirts she really liked and I found an OSU t-shirt for my son with the tags still on. I ended up spending $23 on three t-shirts and was only going to get $30 store credit for all of the items I brought in! Had I been alone, I would never have purchased them. Not only that, I was offered $30 in STORE CREDIT, not cash like I was told on the phone and read on their website! Needless to say, I left the store with the clothes I came in with and $23 poorer! I will stick with Once Upon A Child - better prices, selection and service! Unfortunately I have to give a rating of at least one star. Cons: Insulted by offer, resale items overpriced & selection poor more

Awful store...Rip off 11/29/2009

I will never go to this store again. I had recently bought an item from the store. I took it home to use it and it did not work. I brought it back the next day with the reciept and was told I was unable to return it or get store credit. When I spoke to the manager, she said items are sold as is. Which I was unaware of. So basically if you buy an item from their store and its broken, unknown to you, then you have wasted your money and they will do nothing to help you. I feel they in a way are stealing peoples money and are treating customers wrong. Please make sure you test every item out completely if you decide to make a purchase from this store. more

Rude to special needs child 7/2/2009

I will NEVER enter this store again. I took some items of my childs to sell and had to wait for 45 minutes for them to go through a small box. In that time I took my son for a walk and came back. When we returned one of the clerks made a comment about my child's disability. It will be a much better day when people who own stores like this are out of business and not trying to profit from parents while trying to scar special needs children. Cons: try to scar special needs children more
