Sears

I went to Sears tonight with my boyfriend to buy a washer and dryer and things started out pretty good. Well the sales guy came over and started putting everything into the computer and stuff and before taxes he told us it would be around $909. Well my bf said that is with the 0% interest rate right and the guy told him no that it has to be a washer or dryer has to be over $399 to get 0% interest. We tried to explain to him that the card we have is one that no matter what you get 0% interest but he said no. Needless to say we told him we were going to wait on it and thank you for the help. My boyfriend went to shake his hand and he just turned his back to us and didn't say a word. That was so rude in him but he wouldn't speak or shake his hand so we just left. He called his step-dad and told him what happened and he called the main Head Board of Sears. They said no matter what he should get 0% interest and they gave him the number for the store we went to. He called that store to talk to the manager and they kept putting him on hold and sending him to different people. He was on hold for about 15 minutes and hung up. He called the Head of Sears back and he is still on the phone with them an hour later. I would recommend not going to this Sears location unless you want to deal with them. If you have a card that is 0% interest no matter what you won't get it. more

About a year ago we bought our wash machine from here. Its the best experience I have had with the Sears here. The guy that helped me pick out the best deal they had on wash machines was super friendly and not overly pushy either. I hate pushy salesmen so I was glad that he wasn't that way cause I would have walked right out of the store. We put it on my mother in laws Sears cards since they were having a special going twelve months no interest no payments. I love it when Sears has those kind of deals going on cause their credit card are a fixed 22% interest (I believe its 22, I know its in the 20's.) So I saved me a bunch of money that way. I had them deliver it to my home for I believe it was $15.00 and they even hauled my old one that was broken off. I was so pleased. I really like my wash machine and I was able to get all the settings I wanted at a decent price. I even bought the extra 2 year warranty just in case. I am really hard on wash machines so I figured I would buy me a new one and try not to break this one (seeing how I went through 3 wash machines in a year.) I will probably go back here to buy any more appliances that I might need. more
