Always GREAT service and dependable quality 12/29/2011

I understand the previous reviewer being upset with Sears corporate over a faulty washer. However, that should not discount the other amazing products and service this particular Sears has given to Thousand Oaks for over 35 years. I have never had a problem with Sears and have purchased numerous appliances (two refrigerators, two dishwashers, two laundry sets, two stoves and more) in my 20 years of marriage. Has everything been perfect? No, but nothing in life is. This store and its employees work hard to give consumers great options in the retail world. People should give them a chance to impress. Just saying that you shouldn't ban an entire store because of a faulty appliance. They sell so much more and I am sure Sears came through (no update??) or will. more

Nightmare Experience with Sears! 8/20/2011

Purchased a Kenmore washer and dryer for aprox. $2000.00, 13 months ago. The worst purchase I have ever made. It has been one problem after another with both appliances. Dryer leaves black grease marks on my sheets even after Sears replaced drum (don't forget within 1 yr). Washer has flooded laundry room 3 times. The worst part of it all is the customer service ""NOT"" provided by Sears. Every call to ""Customer Service"" is a nightmare. The calls are transferred from one rude person to another. After trying to call the store directly and being hung up upon 5 times we went to the store with hopes of being helped. Appliance mgr. explained nothing could be done to help. Not even a phone number or person for them to contact. UNBELEIVABLE!!! Mgr. saiid they would send an e-mail to their Corporate office with hopes of getting some assistance for us within 48 hours. 72 hours still waiting!! Please do yourself a favor and do not purchase anything from Sears. more
