I have contacted Ms. Scott on numerous occasions and left multiple voice messages for her. She has not once returned my call. A colleague of mine has had similar experiences. She simply refuses to return her phone calls. Her behavior does not appear to be consistent with an ethical licensed mental health professional. Assuming that most of the people who call her are in some level of emotional distress, it is not only rude, but potentially emotionally damaging to have her calls go unreturned. There are plenty of mental health professionals who behave with integrity and compassion...Ms. Shirley Scott is NOT one of them! Shame on her...
