Granted, it was only 40¢ but that adds up after awhile!
Let me explain. This afternoon my fiancé and I were at the Welli Mall (The Mall at Wellington Green) and decided to eat a little something before we walked around the mall. I'm always in the mood for pizza so we settled on Sbarro's.
I ordered the pepperoni slice $3.29 and he ordered the vegetarian slice $3.69 -- not exactly a cheap meal. When we got our receipt my fiancé noticed that we were charged $3.69 for my slice. When we inquired about it they tried to tell us that the slice I ordered was $3.69.
We looked at the menu again and there isn't any pepperoni slice listed for $3.69. The only slice listed at that price that has pepperoni also has sausage. To make matters worse, my pizza slice sucked! It wasn't heated long enough so the cheese wasn't heated through. Gross.
On Monday morning I'm going to have to make a phone call to Sbarro's corporate and let them know about this incident. My fiancé refuses to ever eat here again -- just on principle.
