We deal with a lot of local businesses and Savini's is always very accommodating with allowing us to go in early to decorate. As a side note, I had my wedding there and it turned...

Definitely not the best food... 3/4/2011

The food was horrible. $15.95 for lobster ravioli that was so fishy I didn't even eat it. The waitress asked if I wanted it boxed, I said I wouldn't eat it because it was too fishy and she was like "oh I guess I recommended the wrong item". Never offered to remedy it. My fiance had to get dessert despite the fact that I told him it would be like the food... and the snickerdoodle cheesecake was terrible also. $47.00 for 2 entrees, one ap., 1 dessert and 2 non alcoholic drinks... and free Woonsocket tap water with lemon... the lemon was barely visible. Well we left hungry, but we donated to the local economy. We will never go there again. more

A taste of Italy 12/7/2005

As i walked into this restaurant the atmosphere was welcoming and family oriented. As i entered the lounge a server past me with fresh family style chicken. I immediately wanted a taste of my own. We were sat and about a minute later brought water and bread, which most restaurants don't do anymore. You can always tell its a good restaurant when a server brings you bread right away. I ordered the family style and everything came within 15 minutes. The food was fresh and filling! I had dessert, which was apple pie with vanilla ice cream. The original-ness of this meal was right to my taste. The server was friendly and i would go back anytime! more

Great food! 9/9/2005

It is true that the restaurant may be a little dark but the food is wonderful. Mostly Italian food but they do have a large menu. I have been going to this restaurant since I was little. For a while my parents ate there every Friday night. I still like to go and take my son. He loves everything they have. Sometimes we get the family style chicken and sometimes we split an Italian dish like veal parmesan. Their portions are large and definitely worth the money. If you are in the mood for some great Italian food this is the place. Enjoy! more

Savini's is Woonsocket tradition 8/21/2005

Northern RI has made the family-style chicken dinner famous (in Rhode Island anyhow) and Savini's is one of those places known for serving that menu just right. But they have more than just family-style chicken with a menu that works when we bring the whole family with their varied tastes. There are two small private rooms that make private parties a terrific option - and with their affordable prices, you can actually afford the tab at the end of the night. There is a hall for rent above the restaurant - the restaurant is actually about five steps down so that it's almost below street level which makes it a bit dark. This isn't the place you bring the boss to impress him but instead, bring family so that you can enjoy a good meal and gab without feeling rushed. more
