I had met sarah before, and have been meaning to go by, but never had the money. Well we had a little extra this weekm, and i've been wanting to get my hair cut. I just had a feeling about her, and the haircut i came out of there with, just made me want to do whatever i could to come back as often as i could. I was so heavy for so long, weighing over 400lbs for years. Today I keep looking in the mirror and I feel sexy. Even after losing 130lbs, this is the first time i felt sexy. The only con? I have curly hair, and have always wanted that tight curly look. I was so shocked when she gave me that look that I couldn't process it. Rather than risk giving me something I didn't like she straightened it out. Now I want to cry at my own stupidity. But i can take solace in the fact that I will simply be back. So the motto is, don't argue with sarah when she says you'll look good. Be careful or you might try to hock things to keep coming back. :) i have an appt in a couple of weeks, to get my nails done, and I'm worried it will look too good, and I simply have to eat. Well i do need to lose more weight... haha. So literally run, don't walk, just like the rating says. Don't bother with anybody else. pfft! This woman rocks. If she can make me feel sexy, she can do anything. more

Daniel is the BEST! 11/8/2010

I love this salon! I've gone to several salons & tried out many stylists, but I can finally say I have found my salon and hair stylist, Daniel. I went in to have highlights and cut done & had a picture of an idea of what I was looking for, Daniel made my hair look better than the picture I showed and made a post pregnant lady look and feel great. I would tell everyone to go see her, she is the best! Love, love, love my hair and Daniel. more

I'd never go anywhere else!! 8/21/2010

I've been following Sarah for as long as I can remember... When she opened her own salon, I signed up as quickly as I could to get an appointment with the best! She has transformed my hair from faded and drab to something absolutely fabulous! I kid you not, at least one person each day says something about the beautiful color Sarah has so expertly applied to my hair-- I have to constantly restock my stash of her business cards! Thanks to Sarah and her wonderful crew for everything. You should definitely check them all out. more

me and my aunt went to sassy styles in converse texas not to long ago and they did a great job on my aunts hair she got her roots touched up and it looked amazing my aunt has been going there for a while now everyone knows her by name they serve you with drinks and they were super nice. i got my toes done with pink on the toe nail and then zebra stripes and it looked good and therre still on and if she messed up just a little she redid the whole thing. i would definatley recommend this salon it was great Pros: great nail work and great hair coloring and styling more

I have finally found my hairstylist...for life!!! 7/21/2010

I've had bad luck over the years with finding a stylist that sticks around. I decided to try Sassy Styles after reading all the wonderful reviews. I was not let down! Sarah is an AMAZING ARTIST! My hair is even better than I had imagined! I can't get over it! And my husband loves it too ; ) I had to buy the wonderful Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner she used, and at a great price. My cut is great and the color is perfect. Couldn't have asked for more! GO SEE SARAH! I've already told two people they need to go see her...and I only left a few hours ago!! Thanks Sarah, see you in a few weeks! Pros: I felt very welcome and got exactly what I wanted! Cons: I don't need a hair cut more often than every few weeks! more

unprofessional atmosphere and not caring 7/17/2010

I call to complain the next day and they didnt want to help me to at less fix my hilites. Never would I recomended this place. Very unprofessional and dont care about the client, never would step in to this salon again. so dont trust this people with your hair. very devastated. Great Hair 1/12/2010

I love Sarah and all the girls! The are very friendly and do great work. I went in knowing that I wanted a change but not sure what to. Sarah study my face shape and bone structure and cut my hair to make it look great! I love it! These girls know what they are doing and are open with you as to what you should and shouldn't do with your hair. It is a friendly atmosphere and they make you feel at home. Place for any and everybody 11/23/2009

As soon as I walked in I felt so welcome. Sarah is the manager and makes you feel right at home. I felt very catered to and was confident that I would come out looking great. Melissa is one of the stylist and always does such a great job. She does the job right and well--never disappointing a client. I highly recommend this salon for any and everybody. Wow is one of the word's to use to describe how I felt when I left the salon . Kristi took care of me from the moment I stepped in till the moment I walked out . I LOVE my cut , it is everything i asked for and more . She was referred to me through a co-worker , who insisted I try her . Man, am I glad I did .She listened to me and spoke with me about ideas for my features . I can also say I walked out feeling great about my cut , and most important of all ... Sarah has been doing my hair for years now, and everytime I see her I always get something different. It's really fun talking and being treated kindly by all the stylists, and the thing I like the most is getting a righteous hair cut with amazing color! You never know what your gonna get when you walk into this salon. I put my hair into the hands of Sarah and said "Just go with it!" and the result was a work of art! Great Plave 9/2/2009

I have beeing going to Sarah for a little while now, and she always does my hair great. She will try any new look but also tell you what will and won't work for you. I had a bad hair experiece and went to Sarah to fix it and without even really thinking about it she turned it into a beautiful red masterpiece. I get so many compliments on it and can't wait to go and get someone new done next time. She is very layed back and chill, just the typr of atmosphere you want to be in, especially if you need to be there for a few hours, but VERY worth the time more

I have been a client of Sarah's for years. She is an amazing person whose passion is clearly seen and felt the moment you walk into her salon. She is always up on all the new colors and styles and is even an instructor for other hairstylists at tradeshows. She has always given me the best hair hands down, and I have always gotten lots of raves for my hair in terms of style and color. So much so that I have referred many people to her that are now regular clients. If for nothing else go in and see her for a consultation, you will not be disappointed. This woman rocks it! I LOVE my Hair!! 8/17/2009

I have never loved my hair until the stylist crew at Sassy Styles started working on it. The colors are vibrant, the cuts are trendy and beautiful, and I enjoy being there so much. Every time I go in I leave not only with an amazing hair cut but with a better outlook on my day. Also - their products are awesome. They are true professionals that won't sell you something you don't need, or pressure you just to make a profit. I love Sassy Styles!! Pros: Great stylists, amazing color/cuts, comfortable atmosphere Cons: I just wish I needed to get my hair cut more often!! more

I used to wander from stylist to stylist unitl I found Sarah a few years ago. She is the angel that was sent to do my hair! She understands what I want, yet always offers honest suggestions. FINALLY a bit of NYC hits Texas...if you are in the market for a salon that is in vogue with the styles of today, or a bit of the wild side this is the place to be. Kristy and the girls at sassy style always know whats rockin the catwalk and are able to have it jump from the picture to you with expertise and a professionlism that exceeds any other place I have been to. With the industry I work in I need that cutting edge style and color, and no matter what crazy idea I bring to Kristy she is game and it ALWAYS comes out perfect. I do travel alot with work and family and it seems no matter where I go , wether it be Maine or Italy I have people come up and ask "where do you get your hair done?" I've been going to Sarah for years and now take my sons. I finally found someone that does a great job every time! She takes her time with each person and is very pleasant and honest. I also like that Sarah continues to educate herself on hair care and is always trying to grow as a stylist. Sarah is WONDERFUL!
