I was referred to Jennifer for a balayage and cut earlier this year and have been going to her ever since. She gives the best hair cuts and coloring! She is so attentive and has attention for detail like no other stylist I have ever been to. She is wonderful! Big bonus that there is convenient free parking at this downtown Bellevue location too! more

Brittney C. has been doing my hair for over a year now. I was in need of something fun and new with my hair so a friend of mine told me I had to go see Brittney; I have to say I'm soo happy that I did! I get so many compliments everywhere on how amazing my hair looks specially my color. This girl really gets me. She is so professional, takes the time to really listen to me, and always offers up new ways to change my look if that's what i want. If you want a great hairstylist, go to Brittney. I love her. more

I have been many places to have my nails done with shellac and no one does it better than kayleigh. They last forever longer than they wear when I had them done elsewhere. She's so talented with doing rock star or designs. I will definitely be back. Don't waste your money anywhere else! more

Kayleigh is absolutely amazing! I have never had healthy, beautiful nails so I always got acrylic nails. I was tired of having fake nails so I decided to try shellac about a year ago but my nails were completely trashed! Kayleigh nurtured them and brought them back to health and she keeps them looking fabulous! Regular polish never lasts on my nails but Kayleigh does such an amazing shellac manicure I can go up to 3 weeks without a single chip or break- AMAZING! I highly recommend getting a shellac manicure from her! more

Jennifer is Amazing!! 1/6/2012

I was in need of a new stylist since the one I used - and loved - was cutting back hours. I found Salon Tewl through Groupon and met Jennifer! Wow - lucky me! She has been fantastic. She keeps great notes in my profile and has taken all the time necessary to find the right coloring method and look for my frustrating color-frizzled hair. I'm not so frustrated anymore:) She has done a fantastic job and truly loves what she does. She takes a sincere interest in my hair and me and is so much fun to spend a couple of hours with. I now take my teenage daughters to her for cuts and feathers and they also love her. You should see the nice ""do"" Jennifer did for my daughter on her birthday. Beautiful! more

I could write a long story about past experiences but im not going to bother. Tony, this review should've been done 6 mths ago when you cut my hair but yes i was lazy (lol). Just wanted to rave about my sister's new look! Not only does she love it but she looks fantastic! Can't wait to see you again! I have been getting my hair cut and colored for years and Gene Juarez and although I typically walk out of there somewhat pleased, I never feel 110% especially at their over the top prices. I heard of Jen thru a friend and have to say, I am soooooooo pleased with not only her artistic ability but also the conversation I get to have with her. She is dynamic and fun and so sweet to sit with and share conversation. I will never go back to any other salon after finding Jen and feel so fortunate to now call her my hairstylist because she rocks it but also call her my friend!!! more

Jennifer -- Best Hair Stylist in Bellevue 6/9/2011

I recently moved to the Seattle area and I was in need of a new stylist which I was dreading trying to find one as good as my last one. I had a co-worker suggest Jennifer at Salon Tewl so I booked a appointment and went. I have always done foils in my hair with blond highlights on the top half of my head and dark brown all thru my bottom half of hair. Jennifer suggested I do a Balayage instead of a foil which would make my hair more of a natural blond and not so streaky and fake looking and color it all thru my hair instead of just the top to make my hair look more full and healthy. I very hesitant in not knowing what it was and I was so comfortable in the same old foil thing so she showed me pictures of how all the models and actresses do it now and how pretty it looked and so I agreed to trust her and let her do it. She suggested cutting layers only next to face to bring out my facial features and look fuller in the back. When she was done I was in shock by how beautiful and perfect my hair was. I have never been so happy with my hair and the cut and highlights ever before! I left looking like a model and feeling as beautiful as ever! more

A Great Experience From The Time You Walk In. 5/10/2011

I have been going to Salon Tewl for over a year now and have several friends that go there also. I just love going because the experience begins from the time you walk in the door and the receptionist greets you, takes your coat and asks if you would like something to drink. more

After going to a number of salons, Obadiah, Seven, Salon Matarazzo, are included, they all gave me a nice hair style, but Tony gave me a fabulous hair style. I received so many compliments, and that has been the first time ever. Before the hair cut, Tony asked me what it was I wanted in a hair style and I got more than what I had asked for. The front back of my hair looks beautiful, and it is well proportioned to my face. He spent a lot of time washing and cutting my hair and I walked out with healthy, glowing, beautiful hair! I love what he did to my hair! more

I moved to Belevue 6 years ago as I go the job here with a tech company. Since I have to dress and look professionally I wanted to pick the Salon with great service. I ended up picking Tewl Salon on my friends recomendation who's been thier customer for last 12 years. They Were really professional and treated me with care. I was so happy and confident after my every visit to Tewl salon. I am glad they individually pay attention to the style that fits me. My daughter is a 16 now and she needs to look pretty to I have am planning to take her to Tewl too. I can't thank Tewl Salon for the look and confidance the their style has given me. Love you guys. more
