No Korean, No Service 3/19/2009

I was not able to get anyone to help me but everyone else seemed to be getting helped. I tried to say to her that it was too spicy for me but she just agreed and wouldn't take the order back even though I asked her for not spicy. I wasn't a bigh fan of this place, maybe I will go to the one's on Charleston in that center, it seems a little more nicer. Pros: Setting, Atmosphere Cons: Service, Food more

Good food, reasonable price, great service! 9/16/2008

The food at Santoki is delicious & reasonably priced. Although a while back they were admittedly overpriced, now, after the new menu & properly modified prices, it is truly an excellent Korean restaurant that I would definitely recommend for everyone to try it out. The service is great as well; they are very friendly & attentive. I usually go eat here for dinner most of the time, but I have recently tried their lunch specials and the dish itself was actually really cheap, but it was a big plate of food that I couldn't even finish it all. The food quality was also excellent both lunch & dinner. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this restaurant & I would definitely recommend it to everyone. Pros: good food, reasonable price, clean more

Awesome....weekend trip just to eat here 8/23/2008

My husband and I are avid travels. We kind of passed by a sign on our way out of town to the grand canyon. We planned a stop by on our way out a week later. there were 5 of us. one of which was our exchange student from thailand. This place was awesome. pricey...but the service, food and atomsphere were great. we ordered two of the "combo" meals. it came with more food than the 5 of us could eat. I would go back for a weekend trip just to eat at this place. Our exchange student from Thailand really liked it....it reminded him of home and the other person in our group actually had been to korea....and he said it was awesome as well. My hubby and I have a place in our town in Cincinnati...but to no comparison. This place used very fresh ingredients and the wait staff was very helpful explaining all the different things they were setting infront of us. It was lots of fun. and a great experience...but do look out...the price tag is high...but I think well worth it when you are intown. Pros: plenty of food if you get one of the "coimbo" selections Cons: pricey more

not worth it...I've had better 6/28/2008

So my boyfriend and I was craving for Korean bbq since it's one of our favorite foods. We decided to try out one of the restaurants in Vegas instead of our usual place in LA. After reading the reviews, we were excited to try "the best korean food ever". When we arrived, I noticed the service was great and the venue was very nice. Once seated, I opened up the menu and was disappointed with the prices and not seeing the "all you can eat" option usually for $18 per person. The prices were way expensive from the usual LA Korean restaurants I'm use to, and granted I was in Vegas so I was expecting great food in return. For an 8 oz of beef, the cost was $20. Come on! Really? To cook my own food and charge me that much? Anywho, we ordered the individual set platter and didn't realize that we weren't able to use the grill (which is the fun part). The server said the set was good for two people. After ordering it and eating it, I disagree; not for two hungry people. The total cost for our set of side dishes and 8 oz of beef came out be $30. I was so disappointed. My bf and I usually don't care for the side dishes so we weren't satisfied at all. The kalbi was okay, but I woudn't claim it to be "the best korean food I've ever had". Though we were still hungry, I didn't want to waste $20 for only 8 oz of beef, so we left without any complaints. Also the picture used for the individual set platter in the menu was false advertising. They pictured a salad included with your meal, but don't bring it out when you order it. Overall, DON'T GO HERE unless money isn't an issue for you. Also, I didn't think it was anything special compared to the other korean restaurants we've been to. Pros: great venue, great service Cons: overly priced, mediocre Korean food and no ALL YOU CAN EAT option more

Great 5/31/2008

This place has it all. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. We weren't sure of what to order and our waiter was very friendly and helpful. The food came quick and was delicious. Can't wait to try it for lunch. I think this is my new favorite restuarant in town, and it's open late which is great for people who work swing shift. Also the music wasn't so loud that you had to shout. Great for a date. more

Better than the Korean food I've had in Korea 10/7/2007

I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food I had at San Toki because frankly most of the Korean food I've ever had in Vegas was somewhat disappointing. But, not this place, it was actually better than a lot of the Korean food I've had in Korea and Los Angeles. Be sure to request the sesame oil with sea slat because it makes the meat taste even better. Pros: Great food, clean taste Cons: The restaurant is a little hard to find more

Great food, affordable prices 10/7/2007

Santoki captures the best of Vegas but w/o the crazy prices inside the casinos. Seems like both locals and tourists all come here. Also had the perfect blending of authentic cuisine, but didn't scare some of my friends who weren't familiar with bbq'ing at the table. Can't wait to be back! more

Best Korean Food in Vegas! 10/4/2007

If you want a fresh new dining experience, you HAVE to try San-Toki. There are several Korean restaurants in Vegas, but none of them come even close to San-Toki. The food here is as authentic as it gets, short of actually going to Korea. The owners are Korean, so they know how to do it right! The big bonus about San-Toki is the venue itself--its clean, hip, inviting, and fun! I've been to most of the other Korean restaurants in Vegas and for some reason, they all feel so grimy. I love Korean food because its much healthier than other cuisines and so much variety for every tastebud. San-Toki is truly delicious. I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone! Oh, and to top off your meal, go to Red Mango (same complex) for delicious and healthy frozen yogurt. Doesn't get better than this! Pros: Superb food, excellent atmosphere, clean, friendly staff Cons: Why didn't they open sooner?!? more
