Santa Barbara Consignment

I was ""helped"" by an older woman with glasses and short blonde hair. She was incredibly RUDE. When I asked her the price of an item on display, she told me it wouldn't be priced for a ""couple"" of days. Her attitude was snotty, and she was very condesending. I then asked for a card and some idea of when to call back about pricing. She acted like she was doing me a huge favor by answering two simple questions. When I asked is she was the owner, she rudely replied ""yes"" and didn't look at me. She acted like it was a royal pain to even acknowledge me when I enetered, up until my departure... it was huge inconvienance to have a customer. This woman should NOT be in retail. Own the store from behind the scenes, don't contact potential customers that may spend in your store -which will apparently only increase your unsavory demeanor. more

The reviewer ""daveadler"" is the email address of the owner! What a scammer to pretend that they are a customer! These people are dishonest and unethical. They often do not pay when sales are made. You have to fight to get your money. Run away! Do not consign here. more

I love this store, it's amazing. The customer service is great, the prices are so good. You can find all kinds of stuff, antiques, mid-century, asian etc. Lots of nooks and crannies to spend lots of time. Go! all I'm going to say!\r Pros: Variety, Prices, Parking, Ambiance Cons: Need lots of time to shop and take it all in. more
