My whole experience at the Sand Bar was great. From the service to the appetizers staright thru the main course. Food was excellent. The whole evening went very well and I def recommend to make a stop at this place. more

Great View, Food & Service 3/2/2010

On our 36th wedding anniversary we decided to try this restaurant. Our server "Kim" was very helpful explaining the menu and her service was outstanding. All of the appetizers, entrees and desserts were delicious. We are going back soon and we are recommending this place to all our friends and family. Just a great place!!! more

Great joint at the shore 1/23/2010

It's like the TV show Cheers on the Jersey Shore. The staff is very friendly. All TV's are in HD so sporting events are great to watch here. Tons of food and drink specials and not just the draft beer norm. The view of the marina is the best and lots of delicious food on the menu. Tasty salads and the best Sirloin Steaks around. Check out the upstairs dining room too! You can watch the Pt. Pleasant fireworks from up there! more

the vodka sauce pizza is probably one of the best i've ever tasted but the service could have been better. I think they need to clean up the place better and have better training for their workers. A little disappointing to see. more

Great Atmosphere 10/14/2008

The Sand Bar Restaurant is a really cool place to go and eat lunch or dinner when the weather is nice. It's right on the water, so you can eat while over-looking the river. It's very calming and a nice break from a busy schedule. The food is pretty good, and not terribly high-priced, although it's not the cheapest place I've been. The prices are worth the view. more

This is a great place to go. The view is spectacular and the food is always good. The upstairs is also a great party room (my bridal shower was held there) and they did a wonderful job. more

When I visit friends in the area at any time of the year, this is where we wind up. Near a marina, the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed, the specials are solid and the service is great. more
