Parking for visitors is a nightmare. Today I tried to get my daughter in for registration and got my first run around via their telephone system. Don't even try it if you need enrollment information or a counselor--you won't get there because their phone lines are always busy or take you to a deadend forcing you to call back. I've now been waiting for 30+ minutes in line at Records & Admissions and feel like I'm in a third world country. Was told that I couldn't get my kid in until she had her high school diploma in hand. Now that doesn't make sense if you just had your ceremony. So how to other HS graduates get pre-admitted into universities before their graduation but can't if they go to SAC? That doesn't make sense. If you go to HS in San Antonio--many schools don't have graduations until early June. Transcripts don't get sent out for at least another couple of weeks. I do have to say that people who the offices are friendly and the campus security folks are also. Aside from the challenges of getting though the admissions office everything else is ok.
