Sam Noble Museum 4/5/2006

This museum is a beautiful big building. It is a great museum for kids since it has a large dinosaur area. But, I wish they would take advantage of all the space they have. It really doesn't have a large amount of exhibits, and does not take that long to get through. It is still a great experience and the exhibits they do have are very nice. It is family friendly. more

Past and now 12/22/2005

I really love this Museum not just for the kiddies, but also for myself. It is great to start your kids on a scientific fascination such as Dinosaurs and this Museum makes it all the easier! My kids are absolutely amazed with T Rex and excavating and this is truly the place that inspired them. There is even a mini sandbox area that kids can go to have their own digs in! I would really recommend this museum as a year- round event for any family. more

Beautiful museum 12/2/2005

The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History in Norman, Oklahoma is huge, new, beautiful museum filled with wonders of science and nature. They have really great, entertaining exhibits such a fossils, indian art, and plains displays. They had a great kids room where kids and adults could experience hands on fun with fossils and other artifacts. The place also has a huge dinosaur skeleton of a T Rex which our kids were fascinated and thrilled by! I would recommend the museum for a wonder day trip with the kids, and the price is good too. more

Great Exhibits 9/18/2005

The Sam Noble Museum has some really great exhibits and programs for kids. They have a program over the summer for those aspiring paleontologists. There collection of fossils is very impressive considering the size of the museum. They also have some really interesting permanent collections that kids really enjoy and learn a lot from. This is a wonderful place for kids to learn about natural history. more

Fun 9/17/2005

The museum is a marvalous place to take the family, or a date. Just the architecture is impressing. They have beautiful art exhibits, and pieces that fit into Oklahoma. The Native American area is interesting, and hands on. Very good, with a nice price. I just imagined it bigger (like denvers) more

A fabulous outing for the entire family! 7/4/2005

The Sam Noble Museum of Natural History is a fabulous place to visit in Norman! Every time we visit, I am again, fascinated by their many wonderful displays! They have displays for any history buff, as well as anyone just out to have a great day. The childrens' favorite... the life sized dinosaur skeleton! It is fabulous! You can stand at the bottom, peering up, or get in the glass elevator and watch all the way up to the top of the huge skeleton! Reasonable prices, guided tours available... great place to visit! more
