Always great 11/14/2011

I have been using Salon & Spa Vanessa since before they moved to their current location on Main Street - perhaps 10 years. I have never left there unhappy. I love the Aveda products, and the service is outstanding. I had always felt some anxiety in the past with going to the salon but not with Salon & Spa Vanessa. I leave there relaxed and refreshed. more

Beautiful Salon! Fantastic Massage! 11/12/2011

I was given a gift certificate to this salon/spa for a birthday present. Everything about my experience was absolutely perfect. The location was easy to find with an ample amount of parking behind the building. What a gorgeous old home to have a business in! As an interior designer, I certainly appreciate the aesthetics as the calming colors, fragrant rooms and thoughtful details were a treat for the senses. All that aside, I had a relaxing massage by Natasha who was amazing! She took the time to get to know me and make me feel comfortable while understanding exactly what I wanted from my massage. Natasha met and exceeded those needs. I can't wait to return and experience more services at this exceptional salon/spa! more

I thoroughly enjoyed my cut and color at Salon and Spa Vanessa. As always I left feeling relaxed and looking put together with my fresh haircut! The atmosphere is very relaxing and when you walk in you are greeted by a friendly smile. A wonderful experience! more

SUPERB SERVICE - AS USUAL 11/8/2011

I have been a loyal client of Salon & Spa Venessa for almost 20 years. I drive an hour each way to go to her salon. Venessa Lanier has designed a salong that is a true source of relaxation and respite from everyday life. The staff is fantastic. I will always be a client!!!!! more

I love this salon and spa! The employees are super friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxing without being too frou-frou that you can't enjoy it. All the spa experiences I've had (which are pretty much all of them) are excellent. And it's all located in the little charming old house in downtown Woodstock. I also Love that Aveda stuff is vegan too! more

I love going to Venessa's - can't imagine a better salon/spa experience. I highly recommend them. I've been going there for about 5 years and you can't go wrong with any of their stylists. Also can't say enough wonderful things about their massage therapists. They're the best and also the best atmosphere for relaxing anywhere, hands-down. more

I never fail to have an extraordinary experience during my color and cut. Venessa makes me sparkle and shine and even recommends lipstick to make me shine even more. I had teh pleasure of having my hair washed by Stacy. I could have stayed all day. Wonderful. more

Jen did an amazing job on my full highlights. I am weird about getting my hair cut and declined because I just didn't feel like it this time, but I am sure I will be back in the future for cut/highlights. I am not the most social being, and I think Jen picked up on that quickly. Highly appreciated the lack of small talk. While she told me about the products she was using, she was not at all pushy. also appreciated and consequently when I am through with my current hair care products I will go with Aveda products. They smell good, made my hair look great, and best of all..No Animal Testing :) more

I absolutely love Spa Venessa. I have been going here for years for massages. Janet and Luc are fabulous and very professional. I give myself a treat once a month for 90minutes and enjoy every second of it. Andrea gives a great facial, with helpful hints for after and between care. Treat yourself and or family or friends it is well worth it. Enjoy! more

I love going to see Kate. She makes sure I'm always "stylin", puts protectors on my glasses when she applys color and is ALWAYS pleasant and fun to visit with. Plus everyone at the front desk is always friendly and makes checking out/in a pleasure... Thanks! Pat more

Amazingly Relaxing Facial 10/27/2011

It takes a lot for me to relax and I rarely take naps, but every time I go here for a facial, I get so relaxed, I find myself drifting off to sleep! The Aveda products make a huge difference to my skin and the estheticians are very knowledgeable on what will work to produce the desired results. I won't go anywhere else for my monthly facials. I have stated bringing my daughter also and she is already hooked! I highly recommend this spa. My hour facial often runs 15-30 minutes over which is a great plus when customers are often short changes these days. The take the time to give you what you are paying for and I apppreciate it. They also have "off peak" days whick save you $20 on your facial. $55 for over an hour of bliss? Yup, that works for me! Thank you Spa Venessa Amy & Andrea! more

This was hand down the best facial I ever had, and I've had quite a few... Andrea did a fantastic job, the whole experience was sooo relaxing and just heavenly! This was my first visit to Venessa, but it will definitely not be my last - thank you!! more
