Nicky Pirrello, formally of Salon Travisio, has now moved to Lord and Lady Salon @ 2523 Monroe Dearborn, Mi. 48124 (313) 287-1050. She is such a great stylist and even better person. I recommend her to everyone ! Especially people like me with very curly hair, because her hair is as curly as mine and knows it first hand. She also offers full services for all types of hair. John Pittman is THE best stylist for men anywhere. I have been lucky to have been his client for over 15 years, and followed him when he moved to Travisio years ago. He is a trained barber as well as having 30+ years on the business. He specializes in men, and does short styles like flat tops and ""fo-mo's"" better than anyone. A lot of stylists can do one good cut, but never be able to duplicate it...John will do it right, every time. The rest of the staff are great, the location is convenient, and you really will not find a pro like John anywhere. You've tried the rest, now go for the best!! more

Nicky Pirrello has cut my hair for most of my life. I am 30 and she first cut my hair when I was 3. I am an attorney -- style counts in my job and looks ARE important. Salon Travisio is a charming, comfortable, sleek salon, located in the Dearborn Parklane Towers at Ford Road & Southfield. Nicky Pirello has been styling my hair for 19 years, and I have always loved my hair, whether it was short, long, straight or curly. Everytime I get my hair cut, I get rave reviews, even after 2 weeks. Her cutting is superb. Once her clients are aware of her abilities, she rarely is asked to do perms, straightening, etc., because she can cut into hair like nobody I have ever seen! Her coloring is always natural and flattering. Her personality is like therapy, warm, welcoming & helpful. She will teach you how she achieved the look she styled for you, and how you can try other 'looks' with your styling. Nicky will come in on her days off, Sundays, etc., if you need her to style your hair. She is unlike any other stylist I have ever had! more

I love this salon. The staff is great, especially Ron and Ron. They treat their customers so well. Staff members show they care by remembering clients, making accomodations to fit you in, and having occasional customer appreciation days. The atmosphere is open and friendly with the good conversation we all enjoy at salons. Stylists are all well trained on current styles.
