Salon Park Avenue

I came here to get my bangs trimmed, I didn't think that was going to be a problem, but apparently it was. I am known for my long whispy hair and when I left this salon every one I knew including my self was terrified with what the lady had done to my hair. I asked her to use a razor on my hair twice and she didn't not, I brought in a picture of what I wanted it to look like and she told me only Asian girls can have that cut, so she cut my bangs straight across and short, like a bowl cut. I was so embarrassed as soon as I got home I scheduled another appointment, the lady who re-did my hair was also discussed with what the lady had done to my hair. I felt like it was a very conservative salon and I was being judge by my edgy look. Not to mention I felt like there was a zanex factory in the back, a lot of the women were very zoned out and didn't seem to care what my hair looked like or if I was happy with it. I have never companied about a place before, but I was very disappointed. more

I was visiting Park City and desperately needed a haircut. I was lucky enough to find Salon Park Avenue. I did have to wait until the next day for an appointment, but at least they were willing to work me in. The salon is near the Sports Authority behind the Albertson's. The decor is very nice and relaxing. The service was excellent. My stylist listened to my requests and gave me a great style. The price was very reasonable ($35 for cut and style). I just wish I didn't live out of state so I could come here regularly. Pros: convenient location, great price, talented stylists Cons: can't think of any more
