Best salon ever. Stephanie is the GREATEST! She knew exactly what I wanted and really took her time. If you're one of the people like me who's trying to grow your hair out but you're afraid to even get it trimmed because no one seem to know what that word even means anymore...GO TO STEPHANIE! I was SHOCKED at how much length I still had after she was finished. I couldn't be happier! She's so personable and fun i couldn't ask for a better stylist! more

This salon was a great first pick for me! I am a student at LSU and spent my entire freshman year getting my hair done whenever I would go home on vacation. I was going out of town this year (sophomore year) for fall break and DESPERATELY needed a highlight and cut. I had looked at the positive reviews for this salon and decided to try it out. Kara did my hair and it turned out gorgeous! She did a better job than my long time stylist back home. My hair really did look great and for a long time after the cut. The prices are verrry reasonable. I tend to enjoy a boisterous salon myself, and this was a quiet getaway. I would definitely go back to Kara, but I might test some more places out in town being this was my first experience. If you're looking for a very quiet, eclectic salon with great service and great prices, Salon Dolce is the place to be. I was a little apprehensive when I first went to Salon Dolce because I had never heard of it before. I had just had a baby and was desperately in need of a ""new me."" The owner and stylist Karla somehow convinced me to get bangs and a shorter haircut. It had been about 15 years since I had bangs! I decided to trust her since half of my colleagues go to her on a regular basis. I was not disappointed! Karla gave me a stylish, professional, perfect haircut!\r \r I would recommend Salon Dolce to anyone who is looking for reliable, friendly, and superb service! Whether you know what you want, need some ideas or want to leave it up to the stylists, you will come away looking your best. The proprietress, Karla, has years of training and experience. She is diligent about continuing education courses on the latest styles and techniques. She uses top quality products and offers them for sale at the salon. She also offers massage therapy and waxing services. Be mindful of busy times such as holidays and book early. Karla or her assistant, Kate, will do their best to work you in. There are only 2 stylists in this small, Beauregard town salon, but they cover all the bases and at affordable prices to boot. Karla, the proprietess, also offers massage and refloxology therapy and waxing services. I don't think I've ever had a faster wax. Speed is obviously important if you're talking about time spent having hair ripped from your body. Kate, the other stylist, does my hair cutting and styling. I never have any idea what I want in a hairstyle, but she's creative and I always leave with a look that I love. The atmosphere is very bohemian and loft-like, with stained concrete floors and an antique pinball machine. Local art decorates the exposed brick walls. Possibly my favorite aspect of Salon Dolce is that they are always able to schedule me when needed.
