Awesome services and wonderful workers. I came in and had to fill out paperwork, but that makes sense because I was a new patient. After the paper was turn in, I was called right away and went through testing. The front desk and back office workers were generous and friendly. The doctors are very knowledgeable comes from the BEST backgrounds of education. Knowing that I am treated by a doctor who is not only an opthalmologist, but the chief truma person at Marcy San Juan Hospital. I feel super secured and safe in the hands of the doctors. Excellent staff and services as expected from the best office for eye care. \r \r Pros: New Office, Mature staff, Doctors are EXCELLENT! Cons: Some delays on busy days - understandable. more

I have been coming to Marteleye for over a year now. I just recently found citysearch and decided to write a review. Reading the other reviews, I do not agree with them at all. The clinic is usually very speedy and it has very modern technology. They are on their way to going paperless, the entire note and history is stored in a computer database that has auto backup, and your perscriptions and notes are directly faxed to your pharmacy and your primary care doctor. In addition, the Doctors at Marteleye are top of the line, educated and expirienced with over 25 years of practice. In conclusion, the level of service at Marteleye is exceptional and the type of care is preeminant. Pros: Doctors, Back office staff, open saturdays(best staff) Cons: occasionally backed up more

Dr, Jim is a genius (tends to be over booked) and Dr. Joe likes to socialize (tends to run very far behind). Both are great docs. Unfortunately, his reception staff is less than mediocre. Additionally, we have never waited less than an hour and a half to be seen. On one occasion I took my 85 yo mother to their office for an 11:00 appt. We sat in the waiting room for an 1 1/2, then was taken to a room and waited another hour. Irritated, I went out to see when we were going to being seen and found everyone had gone to lunch. They had completely forgotten we were still in a treatment room. The two women working the desk who hadn't left, were surprised to see us as walked out of the room. When we complained to the receptionist, ( this woman was the Dr's daughter) was barely apologetic. We walked out never to return. more

we were @ time but still receptionist kept arguing with us and told us straight forward to get a another appointment. After much arguing and disagreement we agree to get another appointment two weeks from that day. we drove 15 miles and she wont even allow us to wait and see if she could squeeze us in. Very bad receptionist in rancho cordova office. Great doctor, Very Very horrible receptionist. more

I was on time to our appointment and the receptionist could care less,probably on a personal call, was semi-rude and after filling out the requisite information said it would be a couple of min. After a half an hour I asked if it was going to be much longer and she shrugged her shoulders. After 45 min. I asked again and she said we were next. After 1 hour of waiting In asked for our co pay back and wanted to leave which took another 15 min. They don't care, no one came out and explained the time delay, they assumed we had all the time in the world. Shame on them. You don't treat a patient ( guest ) like that. more
