Great place to Grocery Shop 9/9/2005

I have been shopping at the Safeway brand of grocery store for years now. The Safeway located at the Fairfax Town Center has just renovated the entire store, making it quite pleasant to grocery shop. I did start to shop at the Wegmans in Fairfax when it first opened, but it was so big, and there are always a lot of people there. I started to go back to this Safeway, as the staff is and the size of the store is just right, and you can get airline points each time you shop with your Safeway Club Card. I recommend this grocery store to shop at! more

Safeway 7/28/2005

I used to love going to this grocery store. But they have remodeled it and I do not like it now. It is way to dark and I don't know why they would do that. It looks more like a darkened warehouse inside now. The light brown floors even adds to the darkness. Their sales are ok not the best. But some things are really priced well. The employees are friendly and it is a clean environment but they need to do something wwith the lighting. more
