Subway. What do you expect?

Small place but quick service. They 2/5/2014

Small place but quick service. They have enough workers to have the line moving fast! There should be more meat on the sandwiches. I feel like they go really light on the meat. more

Always affordable, convenient and clean. You know what you're getting, what you want on it and you have a selection of chips. No fuss and quick. more

I'll have a subway sandwich with no cough please... 11/4/2010

Never really wrote a bad review before - thought I would have too much guilt doing that kind of damage to a business... and then this happened... I started getting an egg and cheese sandwich from here 3 days in a row. (I'll admit, it was pretty good) Anyway, the next time I went in, the guy who was making my sandwich coughed on it. (I was like WHHHHHHHATTTTTTTTT) So I asked the guy, ""Did you just cough on my sandwich?"" He didn't hear me so I had to repeat it a few times. He finally said no, and then quickly stuck the sandwich in the oven. Still confused about how I should handle the situation, I stepped over to the register and was hoping somehow that I would get another sandwich, but was too shy to ask. The manager is the one who handles the register, and he asks me if I want some apples or cookies. As he's ringing me up (for the full amount), he tells me that a co-worker just told him what happened, and he's sorry. He said that the cookies and apples are on the house. (Really????????????) Needless to say, I never went back. That's not really how you're supposed to handle that kind of situation in my opinion... And if that's the way they handle it in front of me, I only wonder what customers aren't seeing in the back kitchen. more

Fast service 5/12/2010

Even with a long line, they work so quickly that you don't need to wait long. The only issue is that it's a bit small. more

One of the best Subway locations in the L.A. area! 5/10/2010

I live in West Hollywood and this is the closest Subway to my home. The place is clean and the employees are friendly, and unlike some of the other L.A. area Subway franchises I have been to, the sandwiches are meaty.\r \r About six months ago, I saw Jason Mewes of ""Jay and Silent Bob"" fame waiting on line to order there. I struck up a conversation with him, and I must say that he was extremely cool with me. Pros: They don't skimp on the meat at this Subway location! Cons: Usually very crowded, especially during lunch & dinner time. more

Two words: Veggie Delite! 2/20/2008

I cannot even tell you how much I love Subway, but this one in particular. My friend and I go here every lunch break at work because a) it's 2 seconds away and b) the Veggie Delite is spectacular...$2.69 for a 6-inch! I have always been a fan of Subway, since they are health-conscious and have only gotten more healthy with their Fresh Fit options etc. There is almost always a line out the door at this place, but the employees make it go fast with their speedy sandwich making abilities, haha. I will forever be a Subway lover. :P Pros: Price, Service, Food Cons: Parking more

Reliable, except for one ""artist"" 11/23/2007

This Subway, like pretty much any Subway, serves reliable fare. Great for sandwiches, good value. Fast. Only one issue...they keep employeed one person that almost invariably messes up the order. Everyone else gets it right, but this one person. It's gotten to the point I simply ask to be skipped if she is my ""sandwich artist"". Otherwise, all good. Subway owner, hope you're reading this! more

Reliable! 11/21/2007

This place is incredibly reliable. No matter who makes my sandwich, it always comes out tasting the same. For those of us who appreciate this in our food, there's no better place than Subway. Pros: Reliable Cons: The line can be long more

I eat here frequenty cause it's cheap 11/3/2007

I work near this particular Subway. It's one of the few places that I can have lunch for $5 to $6. I'm not a big time money maker so I have to keep my lunch options affordable. When i was in college, Subway was the closest place to get food that was near my normal hang out spot so I ate a lot of of this stuff back then. Now I'm a working professional and not much has changed. At least it's not fried food and it has good value for the low amount of money you spend. Yay Subway! Thank you for making it fresh for the Sunset Strip. Pros: Cheapest option on the Sunset Strip Cons: I don't know if I can handle much more of eating these 6 inch subs each week more

A decent fake deli 4/13/2007

NOT like mamma makes, but if you're schmuckin' it up for THE MAN and you're on a lunch break it's not a bad option. I'd choose it over Mac shack - stay away from the oil, cheese and mayo and though it's not much less sodium it's a lot less fat...this IS L.A. after all...look alive people... more

Good sandwiches 8/23/2006

This is a good alternative to the greasy spoons in the area. The only downside is that the lines can get long during lunchtime. Cons: occasional long lines more

Better than Q 7/24/2006

After bouncing back between Quiznos and Subway, I've decided that Subway is the clear winner. Better bread selection (go for Honey Oat!), fresher veggies, toasted sandwiches, and PRICE. You can get the sandwich of your dreams for well under six bucks. Oh yeah, and this location is pretty nice... none of that pungent baked bread smell that lingers on your clothes for days. more

Hard To Beat The Price On Sunset Blvd. 6/6/2006

It's Subway; you know what to expect. This is a really small store but the staff works well together to keep the hoards moving through the place. This is the best lunch value anywhere near the Sunset Strip.\r \r 3/19/09 Update: I've moved this down to 3 stars. Food-wise it's still good but a change in ownership/management makes this place chaotic. If I take a break from work to get food, I want to relax. This place is noisy both with employee voices and with the loud music. You literally have to shout to tell them what you want. Pros: Inexpensive, Tasty Lunch Cons: Line can grow quickly, Chaotic, Loud more
