A Professional Who Cares 7/1/2008

My scrape on the arm sadly got infected with Staph and caused a lot of pus. Dr. McMeeking was able to give me a remedy that cured me in just days! I could tell that he had a lot of experience because he knew exactly how to solve the problem. He is a trustworthy doctor who I can confidently recommend for any skin treatment. more

Very understanding, willing to work around YOUR schedule 5/27/2008

The day before I left to build houses in South America, I realized one of my immunizations was not up to date. Dr. McMeeking went out of his way to schedule me quickly and if it weren't for him I wouldn't have been able to go on my trip. Thanks Doc!! more

My daughter Jamie was scared to get her shot but barely even felt anything. McMeeking made her feel right at home and was very kind to her and us. I would definitely recommend him. more

Drug-resistant Lyme's disease 2/19/2008

I was referred to him for Lyme disease that would not go away--for months. He was direct, to-the-point. I liked his manner and that of his nurse practitioner very much. I would recommend him to friends. more

Helpful, kind doctor. 2/15/2008

My company has offered me to travel to China, which is both an honor and would be a great way to prove my abilities. I agreed to go but in the back of my mind I was worried about the shots and about other possible dangers to my health that I might encounter there. I hate to admit it, I mean I am a grown man and everything, but I am a bit paranoid about shots and that sort of thing. A colleague from work recommended that I see Dr. McMeeking knowing that he is very patient and knowledgeable. I?m glad I went to see him because his professional manner and extra information pertaining to China made me feel a thousand times better. Thank you Dr. McMeeking. more

Great doctor for travel shots 12/5/2007

This doctor knows more about travel medicine than just about anyone that I have seen. He is actually licensed to administer yellow fever immunizations. Pros: Extremely knowledgeable (an actual infectious disease specialist!) more

Dr. McMeeking is a super doctor. He handles all health issues with professionalism and respect. I think this is one of the best medical practices in the city. I have never been rushed out and has always taken the time to listen to my needs. more

Dr. McMeeking was a great travel guy. I had to wait about 10 minutes to see him but after that, I was in and out. This doctor is highly recommended. He is professional and kind. He also gave me freebie: health travel info about the country where the company was sending me. It saved me some research time. more

Dr. McMeeking is the most competent doctor that I have ever met. He took the time to get to know me and carefully listened to my medical concerns. He actually worked with me to determine a mutually acceptable and appropriate treatment path. Dedicated and professional are the words I would use to describe him. more

Dr. McMeeking is a fast-worker and amazing doctor. He seems to be committed to the highest satisfaction of all his patients. I always feel as if he anticipates each and every medical problem that I encounter. Last winter, he gave me a flu shot and when everyone in my office got sick, I stayed healthy. Professional travel medicine physician 6/15/2007

Dr. McMeeking is a leading travel medicine physician and apparently also teaches at NYU. Our family went to his office for travel vaccinations. Not only did he vaccinate us but he also educated us about the medications, diseases and things to avoid. When we left his practice we felt self confident and we were was ready to go to Africa. I will definitely return to him for more vaccinations as needed. more
