I have had a very good experience with SOS Management & Property Services. Jodie is the one who takes care of us, and she is very good at what she does. She is very pleasant with the tenants, and that is great because many of them have been here for several years. She takes care of the repairs and she does a good job. She is good at communicating and I find her to be very nice. She always calls me back if I leave a message for her. Their prices seem comparable; they don't seem out of line. I did have a little trouble with them at first because when the recession hit, a lot of our tenants went through some rough times, and you have to give them more time. There was one tenant who had an issue, but I told Jodie he was a good guy and he would make it up. Once she got acquainted with him, she realized he is a very good tenant. She was very patient and accommodating with him as she tried to work with him. Finally he has paid all his back rent and he's done wonderfully. We have been using SOS Management & Property Services for about 6 or 7 years, and I like Jodie very much. She's wonderful! more

It's hard for me to come up with words for this review because SOS Management & Property Services is practically invisible as a rental management service, which is exactly what I want. We own a vacation home in La Jolla and we pay them for their services so we never have to worry about our rental home. They take care of everything and make it easy for us. SOS Management & Property Services is friendly and takes good care of our luxury home. They always send us our documents on time and they are so professional and on top of things. They're reliable and make our lives a whole lot easier. more

It was my first time using SOS Management & Property Services, and I would want to use their service again. We had the work orders done at the house, and they were very prompt and professional the entire time. They got things done on time. The customer service in general makes me want to continue using SOS, especially Sandy, the property manager. She understood my situation and was there for me. Shortly after I moved in to my new apartment, SOS Management & Property Services purchased our whole street. It has been a little bit of a curve thrown at me since I didn't expect that, but they are going to be remodeling these units so that is good. On the surface, they look good, but the units are very old so they have a lot of issues with maintenance. It has been nice that they have multiple people contracted to do maintenance now, instead of just one person. Before they took over, I was dealing with one person on the phone most of the time, and the old property manager would be the one to come out and fix anything. When the big storm hit last month there were a lot of maintenance issues all over the neighborhood since the units are so old. My ceiling was leaking, and due to the enormous amount of calls they were dealing with, it didn't get fixed properly. They never really came back to finish what they started so I called a couple of times and then they did come out again. Last weekend, he assured me the roof had been fixed, but I work from home every day and I didn't hear anybody on the roof. Then, last Sunday when it was raining, the roof leaked again. It bothered me that the maintenance guys never called before they came, even when I had specifically requested it. After I asked, they told me they would call before they came next time. Still, every time they come, they just show up at my door without calling first. However, I understand that SOS uses third-party contractors so that is out of their control, and they were probably swamped with calls for repairs after the storm. Overall, SOS is a really good company. Their customer service has been great. The girl I spoke to in the office, Vanessa, is awesome. She helped me deal with all the little maintenance requests I have put in- she was like my own personal assistant. They provide great customer service and it's not their fault that some of the contractors have issues. They are doing what they can taking so many calls and getting the people to come out. more

Sos has always been fast responsive to all my house needs and request and if not its not due because of them but it takes time to get house owners approval and they are very understanding and very easy to communicate with via email phone or text ...... more

SOS has taken care of our property since we moved to North Carolina 20 years ago. It would have been impossible to maintain this property had we not had their services. The person who made this all possible was Jody Dean, who has taken care of many difficult situation, always w/ clear communication, promptness, and professional skill. This company has been an excellent service choice for us, and we commend them for hiring Jody Dean. more

I just wanted to personally write how great Brianna has been since we moved into our unit. She is friendly, caring, and provides excellent customer service every time. We've been with SOS Management and Jody Dean for just short of 10 years. I have found them to always be reliable. Any questions I've had over the years have been answered promptly. It is a huge weight off my shoulders to know that I can depend on them to work with my renter to resolve any issues that might arise on my property. If i ever had a problem with my home, S.O.S Property Management came and corrected it promptly. Adriana is awesome, she's extremely helpful and personable. This is the WORST property management company I have ever used and I have had the misfortune of renting from them twice.\r \r The first time was in South Park and I only had to deal with their incredible lack of staffing and terrible customer service.\r \r My most recent apartment on 4th Avenue got bed bugs after seven months and SOS was completely unprofessional about the situation. I think they only have one property manager and she was NEVER available to take your calls. I would estimate that 99% of the time I was told the property manager was on the other line or away from her desk. This was an incredibly stressful and time consuming situation and SOS was not there to help me at all.\r \r The worst part is that the people who lived below me told me the previous tenant had moved out because of bed bugs too! When I initially told the on-property manager about the bugs she lied and said she had never heard of a problem like this in the building. Days later, I received an email from the neve more
