Very, very reasonably price- about what 5/26/2012

Very, very reasonably price- about what I would have paid at my own vet's. Friendly staff, doctors are knowledgable and not pushy. Get there early when they open and the wait will be a lot shorter. Most ER clinics get busy after hours. Excellent ER care! If some of you think this is pricey, check out the ER clinics around Charlotte. To walk in the door is $250-300 and the typical wait for anything is about 5-6 hours. more

Multiple visits - Very happy 2/7/2011

I have had to take my old dog here multiple times the past few years. The vets and nurses have always been caring and nice to me but most importantly to my dog. Sometimes the place has been very busy and I've had to wait a while to be seen. Other times its been slow and I've gotten right in. It can be rather pricey but I guess this is because they are there all night and on holidays and such and have all the newest modern stuff. I read some of the other reviews here that make this place sound terrible but really all those were by people complaining about MONEY or waiting time. Its not a humane society people! Its not free. I think you get what you pay for! If you don't want the best for your pet then go to somewhere less modern and high-end! And its an EMERGENCY room. I've had to wait 12 hours at a human ER before; the longest I've waited at this place (been here 3 or 4 times) is about 2 hours. I've always been happy with the veterinarians there and my family vet speaks highly of them too. So I have alot of experience and think this place is great if your pet really has an emergency. more

If its an Emergency, they are the best i've seen in Columbia,SC 4/29/2008

I've had the misfortune of needing emergency vet care several times over the past few years. Both my local vet and others have always spoken highly of this facility. Having used their services 3 times now, i can safely say that i don't know of any facility in this area that is more professional (at all hours of the night) or more HONEST when working with sensitive and confusing pet medical issues. A visit will cost you a LOT! Be prepared to pay at a minimum at least $200 and easily an afterhours visit or weekend visit could run $600 to even in the thousands depending on what needs to be done. But, they have EVERYTHING there - utlrasound, xray, surgical staff, all the equipment and know-how...and if they need to, they'll call in someone to help your sick pet out in an emergency. You get what you pay for people.... more

Holy cow! That's expensive! 11/30/2005

No doubt about it... when it's after hours and your pet needs emergency medical care, you can't find a vet who will handle after-hours emergencies. But this place will - for a HIGH cost! Depend on spending a few hundred at least. But the facility is modern, well equipped, and clean. The vets are attentive and knowledgeable. The wait can be horrendous, but not unlike any human ER. Pros: Ample parking, Business hours, Facilities Cons: Co$t, Hard to find more
