Our family of four went, son ordered a filet mignon off of the child's menu; the rest petite filet mignons. DELICIOUS. Piping hot, served on a sizzling plate, the last bite of steak was just as hot as the first. Our sides: sauted mushrooms, garlic mashed potatoes, potatoes lyonnaise, and potato au gratin. While the mushrooms and mashed potatoes were excellent, the potatoes lyonnaise and potato au gratin were FANTASTIC and we will order two of each next time rather than any other sides. We were very happy with the quiet atmosphere and prompt, attentive service (at least 5 servers: refilling glasses, making sure steaks and sides met expectations, changing place settings). Disappointed that for this price the bread is not served hot. We will be returning - the price may limit the number of times we can go in a year, but not the amount we enjoy the food! When we entered the two ladies at the front podium looked like deer in headlights. No, you can have seat in the bar area, no, can I help you. Just blank cattle to the slaughter stares. So we walked by and sat near the bar area. We were greeted by a waitress and given water and my friend ordered a beverage. The beverage arrived and we didn't see that waitress again. My friend and I were one of two tables in the dining area and must have been there for about an hour. No what can I get you, sorry for the wait. We sat ignored as the dining area filled up and other people were helped. We were so disgusted we left. We shouldn't have left any money for the beverage. Just check this place out for happy hour. Huge $2.50 pours of house wine. The seared Ahi tuna in spicy mustard sauce is the best deal. Skip the zucchini w/ crawfish. The tenderloin bites wrapped in bacon only come w/ 4 and can vary in tenderness....so it's a gamble. I recommend sticking to the house wine, beer, Ahi and the $2.00 burger. You can feed 3 people easily and get a bit tipsy for under $50. Don't bring any of your rowdy college buddies though.......it's a nice place. Pros: Atmousphere, parking, lots of wine! I HAVE BEEN OUT TO MANY RESTAURANTS IN THE BELLEVUE AND SEATTLE AREA AND THIS WOULD RATE UP THERE TOWARDS THE TOPS. I HAD BEEN IN THERE QUITE A WHILE AGO IN THE BAR, AND AFTER RETURNING CLOSE TO 3 MONTHS LATER THE BARTENDERS REMEMBERED ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND LIKE WE WERE IN THE LAST WEEK. WE THEN WENT UPSTAIRS TO THE DINING ROOM AND HAD A PERFECT DINNER. THE STEAKS WERE COOKED PERFECTLY AND STILL SIZZLING IN THERE SIGNATURE BUTTER. I was hesitant to go after reading the previous reviews, but on recommendation from a colleague my husband and brother and I had a nice, elegant meal there on a Friday night. We were seated right away, the service was impeccable, the food was excellent, and it was an altogether good experience. The only steak in the area that comes close to Daniel's Broiler - and its right across the street. The appetizers were a bit thin of selection. The steak was superb. And the desserts were SUPERBLY done. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, and our food came out before I stared at my watch. Overall, a bit pricey but great for the occasional indulgence. We went for a weekday lunch and ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer then steak and mashed potatoes for lunch. Everything was great and the service was good too. Overall a wonderful experience. more

My rating is based on Sunday evenings. The service is usually fine. However, teh Chef needs to go back to Denny's and practice. I've had to go on a couple Sundays and the food doesn't come close to the usual standard. Pros: food is usually great, seating is prompt, Valet Cons: Sundays are horrible, poor parking more
