I was very hesitant to spend $35 to $45 for a piece of beef as I can cook it myself, but I have to say that the beef at Ruth's Chris's Steak House is worth every penny.

Incredible steaks, cooked in butter. Really does melt in your mouth. Their garlic mashed potatoes are also incredibly good. Everything is prepared fresh upon ordering. If you have a wad burning a hole in your pocket and are hungry or looking to impress someone, you can't do better than this. more

ruth chris has the best beef and seafood in the state of connecticut. the preperation is outstanding and served with a flair. always pleasant staff as well as attentive. just the very best! Pros: good beef, plenty of food Cons: ala cart more

Melts in your mouth 1/3/2003

I have eaten at Ruth's Chris Steak House on several occasions. Each meal has been a combination of mouth watering steak and unbelievable a la carte selections of vegetables. I would highly recommend Ruth's Chris for business and personal dining. Pros: Food Preparation, Quality, Service Cons: Price more

I usually don't eat at restaurants that often but my best friend usually has his birthday parties at The Ruth's Chris Steak House and let me tell you the food is phenomenally delicious. The atmosphere is great, the service is incredible, and the food is unbelievable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who has a decent-sized wallet - it's not exactly cheap, but let me say this: If you want the best steak you will ever taste at an affordable price, you gotta go here! If you haven't tried Ruth's Chris, you haven't tried a good steak! Pros: Unbelievable food, Great service, Good atmosphere Cons: NONE AT ALL, NONE AT ALL, NONE AT ALL more

I've been to a lot of nice restaurants and had many good steaks. Ruth's Chris is over rated. It was good but not as good as I expected the way I heard people rave about it. I've had a filet at OutBack Steakhouse for practically half the price that was just as good. And forget about the atmosphere, you are sitting on top of one another. I did think the service was very good though. more

I imagine a steak at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. My eyes roll back into my head. I get dizzy and I begin to drool. The BEST steak availabe to man. Period. You could argue but you would be wrong. Pros: Steak, Steak, Steak Cons: Price, Price, Price more

An Experience to Savor 8/24/2002

Few restaurants are as consistent and pleasing to the diner as this chain offers, and that makes it more appealing to me. To know that every Ruth Chris' that I have gone to has been a pure delight - gives me comfort knowing that I will have a nice dining experience. The steak house to which others in the hartford area should be measured. The service and food is always great. The new orleans touches to the menu give it extra character. A Family Welcome! 6/14/2002

The food alone is spectacular, but the service is what makes it worth your while. From the time I stepped into the door, I felt like I was at home. The servers were attentive but not intrusive, and always pleasant. Tom, the manager -- both charming and handsome -- was the icing on the cake making sure our food was good and there were smiles on our faces. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back! more
