Absolutely my favorite barbeque joint in Portland. Start with the sweet potato fries; they're fried TWICE for extra crispiness and served with some kind of addictive spicy sauce that I've never been able to identify. The ribs, pulled pork and brisket are all fantastic. I like to mix the Virginia Classic sauce with the Kentucky Mustard. Barbeque beans are just so-so; skip them and try the mac and cheese, candied yams or collard greens instead. Homemade rootbeer complements every possible combination of delicious southern yumminess.
