Love, Love, Love this place! My kids having been racing there in a racing league for 4 years and RushHour has been so good to us. They take good care of us everytime we come in. Love the staff and atmosphere. My kids would be heartbroken if something were to happen to RushHour, so we want to make sure we contribute to their business! EXCEPTIONALLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! 7/29/2011

I bought tickets through Groupon and decided to use them on my Birthday with my three children. The coupons stated that we could not make a reservation to use them. I arrived about 6:30 on a Wednesday evening. I was told that they had a ""Corporate Function"" that had not started yet, and that I would have to wait for an hour while they raced. I asked if they could please let us take our 8 minute ride and was told by the person who claimed to be the owner that he couldn't make the ""Corporate"" group wait because they were his ""bread and butter"". If we waited for 1 hour we would be allowed to race once, but would have to come back on another day to use the other ticket that we had. When I said that I felt that my coupon was not being honored, the owner got very agitated and walked away. He then asked how old my children were (two were under 16) he said that there was no way that we could race that evening because they had to race separately (which was stated on their website), So we went from being able to race for 1 race to not being able to race at all. When I expressed dissatisfaction with the treatment I was receiving, he offered to refund the face value of all the coupons. I replied that I wanted to use the coupons that I purchased. The owner then told me that he would not honor my personal tickets, and then turned to my 3 children and told them that they could race in an hour but that I could not because he didn't like my attitude!!!!! This made absolutely no sense because one of them was over 16, and two were not. So the two separate races that couldn't be raced earlier now could be raced!!!!! He then said that he wasn't the owner; I asked for the owner's business card (Tamer ""Hammer"" M. Saad). Being denied service, we walked outside to leave and he followed us out the door and wrote down my license plate number. I felt that he was trying to intimidate me. THIS PLACE IS THE ABSOLUTE PITS !!!! (no pun intended) I don't know if I'll ever be able to use my coupons, I feel TOTALLY RIPPED OFF !!!!! Mr. Saad was certainly happy to sell hundreds of these tickets. By the way, Mr. Saad's business card states ""ARRIVE and DRIVE"". I WAS ONLY DRIVEN AWAY !!!!! This sounds live a ""Five on Your Side"" story with Monica if I ever head one !!!!! more

Pathetic Service 7/24/2011

Walked in at 5:05pm on a Sunday evening. Not too overly crowded. Asked about the next kids race (8-15) was told it would not start until 5:45. Okay. Our kid really wanted to ride so we bought one $20 race. Asked how long before the race he would be called and was told it would be about 6 min before race start. 5:45 came and went. When we asked it would be in 2 races. When that came and went it would be two races, etc. You get the picture. At 6:18 the kids were called back for their briefing and then racing. Kid had lots of fun and loved it. Doubtful we will ever go back though. Too much of jerking around the customers. Oh, and we were not the only ones continuing to inquire as to when the race would ever start. more

Another happy customer chiming in 6/13/2011

I’ve jumped on Rush Hour’s groupons (and other coupons) whenever they come up and have always had a good experience using them. I’ve never seen their staff discriminate between groupon users and regular customers, like I’ve read some merchants do.\r \r Just got back from a few races tonight, and I’m still coming down from the incredible high. Can’t wait to go back. :) more

I think it is important to note our Groupon Promise:\r Nothing is more important to us than treating our customers well.\r If you ever feel like Groupon let you down, give us a call and we’ll return your purchase – simple as that.\r That being said, in my experience working with RushHour Karting, I have always seen them go above and beyond for all their customers including Groupon customers. It is a great business as seen by their incredible success on Groupon and I hope everyone gets to try out the Go Karts.\r I would highly encourage everyone to use their Groupon at least a couple weeks after the start or a couple of weeks before the finish of the Groupon in order to avoid the large rushes at the beginning and end.\r Thanks to everyone for purchasing and happy riding.\r - Jae from Groupon more

HORRIBLE Service! 6/9/2011

Horrible! They offered a deal on Groupon before Christmas for $40 for 5 8-minute rides ($80 value). I purchased two as gifts. When we walked in to use them, the cashier rang up 10 rides for $120. We presented the coupon and she said “We can’t do this”. When we asked why and to speak with the Manager, he came over and said they were too busy even though she had already rang us up as if we were paying with cash. He refused to let us ride more than once and said he would not extend them so we could come back at a later date, but stated that he would “be glad when this groupon sh*t was over” He would not refund the amount nor offer any type of solution. He was very rude and inappropriate. I was very disappointed that my Christmas gift turned out to be such a scam.\r more

Their karts are as close to real racing as possible. Everyone is very nice and helpful. And with a Membership, their prices are very reasonable.\r Its good fun if you are looking for something ""different"" to do! Pros: Not like putt putt golf & go carts!!! Seriously Fast Karts! more

Great Place for Family Fun! 8/3/2009

Rush Hour Karting is a great place to have fun with friends. I really like their new updated karts...they handle really well. I love that the track is indoors and they have space for business team building events and conferences. A big plus to the Raleigh social activity scene! Pros: Indoors, Great Food, Way better than the kiddie carts that o Cons: Must be 16 to drive the ""adult"" carts more

Great Fun! Great Employees! Great Time! 9/7/2008

Very well maintained high speed Indoor Go Cart Track and Go Carts. Safety Equipment and Driver Briefing provided in the cost of Racing. The Employees were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. A lot of fun for those who want the thrill of High Speed Go Carting. Spectator areas with tables and chairs. Didn't eat in the Restaurant but it appears to be a great atmosphere. Clean rest rooms and Video Game Areas. My son and all his friends who were there with us that day can't wait to go back. Wish it was closer to Durham but it's well worth the ride to Garner. Pros: Great Fun! Cons: Wish it was closer to us! more
