The service was great. From the receptionist, bartender and food server, the food was well prepared and of high quality without the FULL New York over priced menu. When in New Yor...

I hear this restaurant is from the same owners of Tao and Stanton Social. Service seems to be getting worse and worse. I dined there 2 months ago with my wife and we got sick from...

Great brunch spot, for starters 5/11/2006

Rue 57 is just an overall great place for taking visitors out to brunch, lunch or dinner. It's central to everything and offers a varied menu with the right kind of atmosphere - half-bistro, half-NY style. Personally, I love the brunches most, because the eggs are out of this world, especially after a late night out. They are always accompanied by a tin of crispy, skinny fries that just have a satisfying crunch and introduce the grease factor into your meal. Somehow, the day seems a little more bearable after a brunch at Rue 57. And like others have said, the space is large, so you're not dealing with harried waiters looking to have a quick turnover on the table. All in all, a consistent favorite as far as brunch goes. more

Delicious 9/30/2005

Rue 57 is a great place to get a delicious and more elegant meal. It’s located at the corner of 57th and 6th, so there are bunuches of thing to do around there so you don’t have to go out of your way for dinner! The service is excellent and the food is very tasty and appealingly prepared. A little on the expensive side, but worth it. Also, they have a sushi bar that’s newer, but I’ve never tried it. more

Fabulous, casual bistro 8/30/2005

This is one of my favorite French bistros to go to in the area. Each time I get consistently good food--. The burgers are delicious as is the french toast. The place is also unpretentious which is a huge bonus. The service is good and you don't feel rushed to finish your meal. more
