It’s unfortunate that you felt the need to slander me, especially when there was no truth in your statements. We both know you do not own the home the estimate was given for, nor did you make any contact with us. The estimate we provided was for 32K not 45K. It was for removing all existing siding, wrapping the house, re -siding the entire house and painting, in addition it included; new gutters, replacing soffit vents, new fascia and new accordion shutters. When we researched the permit that was issued on the house, the cost on the permit was listed as $14,800 not $9,000. The permit was issued for replacing siding on 3 sides only, with no other work to be performed under that permit. What we estimated was not what was permitted by your chosen contractor. We welcome competitive bidding but in this case there was no equal comparison. My family has been in the construction business in the keys since the 1960’s. We’ve stayed in business this long by providing quality work at a fair price and standing behind what we do. I take my good reputation very seriously. Your decision to use this type of forum for blatant dishonesty is very, very unfortunate.
