BY FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED IN SACRAMENTO. I came by today with my family for my nephew's birthday. We called before hand and spoke to Thomas, the manager, whom had offered us a deal for coming in with a large group. Unfortunately, we were treated differently when we arrived. We had told the two workers, one with glasses and a smart mouth blonde boy, that Thomas had offered a deal over the phone. Immediately, they started questioning us on why Thomas would've offered us such a great deal. Apparently, that was a sign of extreme bad customer service. Instead of interrogating us, they should've spoke with the manager to clarify the situation but instead they decided to use their "indoor go kart PHD degree" to use. My nephew had asked me why are we not celebrating his birthday at rpm indoor go kart. I had to explain to him that businesses that don't treat their customers equally does not deserve our business. I will not apologize for being a majority. My advice to rpm indoor go kart, please do work on your guys' customer service and management. Therefore, I will not be returning after the rude first time experience there. I also will not ever recommend this terrible place to anyone what so ever but I will be sure to share my experience to everybody I know. It started out well, but there was some misscommunication betweeen the race master and the cashier.\r It cast us a race and we ended up having to wait another 20 min in a hot suit for thier mistake.\r OK. let's race! Wrong!\r The officials were unclear about being in single file, so you get penalized(pitted for a lap---(Yes sir mister 16 year old with an authoritarian complex) \r Can we just race?\r Wrong again\r Too many cars, overly aggresive officials lead to bottle necking and more black flagging.\r Maybe if I pop for the Mini Gran Prix where you and your buds own the track for a few races.\r not for Grown Ups looking to go fast! / :( more

RPM is a great place to have a great time, racing action on two tracks (tuesday, thursday, friday, saturday, sunday), and one track backwerds on wednesday and a combined track on monday. if you want something fun to do then you need to head down there.\r \r if you are really into racing though, this may be a little weak for you. 7+ karts on either track means no fastest time for you, since each race is only 10 minutes 2 races will bring out the best. Pros: Great fun with friends and family Cons: Racing with a lot of people tends to be boring. more

This is a fantastic place for an outing, whether it be a corporate event, birthday party, bachelor party or just getting together with friends. You also meet people you don't know because many people walk in alone to race. RPM has numerous meeting rooms with electronic capabilities to meet any business meeting needs. Depending on the day you race there are three track configurations. The tracks will test your driving skills with patience as you look to pass and set up your competitors for passes. The level of competition ranges from beginners to those who frequently race and the competition reaches a high level of skill. Racing is controlled by track personnel so that racers don't treat the karts as ""bumper cars"". Numerous LCD televisions are in place throughout the facility that provide video of sporting events going on across the country and also to show the lap times of racers on the track. In addition to the meeting rooms, RPM provides a retail shop, full service snack bar in the sky box, and catering for those who wish food for their events or parties. I raced at facilities across the country and the only one I've come across that might be superior is in Chicago. Kudos to all involved with this fun place. Well, Ya gotta go once to check it out. If you have never raced karts before, this is a good place to learn. Briefings, training and the whole setup is geared for the beginner. There are 3 tracks to chose from depending on which day of the week you go. They do corporate events pretty well and it's really a good team building environment. The bad news is that if you ever go race elsewhere and then come back here or you race here multiple times, you really start seeing the shortcomings of this place. It is really not designed for a competitive driver. Tracks are not large enough to really allow passing. They are very narrow for the most part especially corners. Running races with 10 cars is to many. To many bottlenecks and wipeouts clogging up the track corners. Track officials (kids) are overly aggressive in penalizing any type of car to car contact which is inevitable in such tight circumstances. The facility can get extremely \r hot during the summer months. You'll roast in your race suit. Like I said, it's a nice place to visit once or twice, or if you're a driver who just likes to put put around the course. If you are a highly competetive or agressive driver then there are better places. Either lead, follow or get out of the way! Pros: Great for beginners and Sunday drivers! Cons: The tracks and rules are clausterphobic for more aggressive drivers! more

We went on a group team builder for work and had such a GREAT time. High Speed go karts, high tech tracking and performance on your races and speeds. It's a great time with friends or work associates and it will get your adrenaline pumping and DEFINITELY appreciate professional racing a LOT more. It is fun and you may just walk out wanting to make this a hobby!\r \r It is a blast and you will have a good time! more
