Don't get fooled, Folks!! Royal Rug is NOT part of Carpet One. They are posting the Carpet One logo illegally (according to Carpet One Headquarters). Randy Geffon has only given me broken promises, no carpeting and no refund going on three months now. If you are considering doing business with Randy Geffon, please check out his list of Small Claims law suits in Pinellas County and then check out the complaints already listed in the Pinellas County's Consumer Protection Website. His is a long story of 5 stores left to him by his Father. This 2nd generation owner has lost 4 of the 5 stores and is on the verge of losing the last of his Father's stores. He is desparate and needs new money to keep going. I'd suggest you don't let it be yours. more

Buyer Beware!! My wife and I purchased carpet from Randay (who is the co-owner) in the middle of March 2011. It is now almost June and we are still getting the run around from this company. We were told that it would take 2 to 3 weeks for installation, give or take. A month after the purchase I decided to call them for a follow-up and to schedule the actual installation. I got nowhere with the people on the phone and was told several times over several days that Randy or Miranda would call me back. NEVER HAPPENED!\r \r I had to go into the store and Miranda then told me there was a problem with the manufacturer, called the company while I was there, and I was told that the carpet would be delivered on April 28th and installed within that week. Well, needless to say that was a lie too. \r \r Now my pregnant wife, who is due anytime now, has been into the store 2 additional times (since phone calls from her were going nowhere) and has still been getting the run around. Randy has been MIA and we have not seen him since the purchase and Miranda decided to stop dealing with us directly and avoids us, so she pawned us off to one of the workers who has no control over anything and clearly does not know what to tell us.\r \r We have demanded answers or our moneyback (half of the purchase amount is required at time of purchase) but have gotten no response just the ususal run around. Beware that if you sign the reciept they give you, it clearly states in the first bullet point that there will be absolutely no refunds without the sellers consent. Regardless if it takes longer than the usual 3 weeks for delivery and istallation.\r \r It seems our next step, if they refuse to give us a refund or have the carpet installed within the week is for us to get an attorney and take them to court.\r \r \r \r more

Randy, who told me he was the owner, sold me the carpet on 12/14/2011 It was suppose to be installed after Xmas. It was finally installed 2/10. This was after many phone calls, almost never a return call and the wrong carpet being delivered the week before installation. One of the most stressful experiences that I encountered in redoing my home. The installers (4) installed 2400 feet in 1day and were very accomodating and skilled. If you want a smooth transaction, GO ELSEWHERE. more

Installation contractotrs were skilled but not enough of them to get job done; padding was not ordered correctly so mismatched padding was installed throughout the house; customer service from company was terrible, could never get a real human on the phone. My business was worth $12.5K to the company. more
