Back in 2003, I went to the Roundabout Theatre with my two best friends in order to see the play "A Day in the Death of Joe Egg" starring Eddie Izzard. The theatre itself was immaculate and for $65 a pop the three of us each managed to snag a front row seat.
Though the staff in general was quite friendly and helpful, the one downside of the evening came when my camera was confiscated. Though other individuals took photos after the play was over, I was the only one the staff bothered that day. Thankfully, the camera itself was only disposable so it didn't put much of a damper on my day.
Otherwise, it was a great experience and the Q&A session the Roundabout Theatre held at the end of the night sealed the deal as I was able to walk away with my favorite comedian's signature on my playbill. I certainly would attend another play there again though the next time I'll be sure to leave all photographic equipment at home.
