Ray the plumber showed up a few minutes early to replace my kitchen faucet. Everything went very well. Ray's a nice guy-very polite and friendly. As with other reviewers, I felt the labor charge was a bit steep, but I was told ahead what it would be, so I have no complaints.\r \r SteveK more

John the plumber called before showing up, and he was clean and on time. He was very friendly, upfront about costs and a quick worker. This was the first plumber i have hired in Minneapolis for this house. The drain i was having trouble with is quick draining now- we are able to do laundry again! more

My son had clogged my toilet. I have been able to get it clear in the past. This time however, no matter what I tried, I could not get the clog clear. I called Roto Rooter and Harrison was great. Not only did he clear my toilet he also told me what to do so that we can get the maximum flush power. He also suggested that I take a part that was not working correctly to the hardware store to get replaced. They only carry universal parts and this was a special part. \r Not only did they make our toilet work again, they gave suggestions on how to prevent it. I call that service! more

I want to start off by saying our Technician Jeff was outstanding! We called for service around 7pm on Sunday and Jeff arrived at 9pm and explained everything in detail and answered all our questions and got to work right away. He eventually removed Seven pounds of roots and a mystery blockage that opened up the drain. I Definitely Recommend Using Roto-Rooter! more

Our basement floor drain was backed up after doing a load of laundry. We called on a Sunday at 3pm and someone was coming out between 7-10pm. They called back about 5:30pm to say that they would be there within a half an hour. The plumber arrived about 6pm. He got the drain clear, removed tree roots and cleaned up completely. He was great! He was done by 7pm. I got my laundry going again with no more drain issues!! Awesome job!!! more

We hadn't been able to laundry for nearly 3 days. That's a long time for a family that washes 3-4 loads daily. The reason was that the drain from our service sink was clogged. We tried the coat hanger drain opener method, Drain-o, and even removal of the trap. All to no avail. My wife gave me the day to fix it... or else. Well that sent me online for a search of local plumbers. Roto-Rooter was the first on the Google search list, so matters of expediency I gave them a call. They called back to say Robbie will be at my house in 30-40 minutes. He was right on time and got to work. My giant chocolate lab pushed his nose into Robbie's work space acting like some sort of inspector. Didn't seem to bother Robbie much. So, within a very reasonable amount of time Robbie fixed the problem plus some additional problems I think I caused with my dismantling of the drain. He was very professional, knowledgeable, clean, and friendly. The repair cost was reasonable, too. Thanks to Robbie I didn't have to face my wife's ""or else""! more

Our main drain for the house was plugged - we couldn't run water anywhere because it was backing up onto the basement floor. Our plumber was scheduled from 5-7p, but was delayed. The dispatcher called us each time to let us know what time to expect him and what was going on. Our plumber - Dennis was great...very personable, friendly and got right to work fixing our drain. The price of the repair was provided before any work started. Good experience. more

I have used Roto Rooter in the past and I have never been disappointed. After my appointment today I was reassure that I made the right choice in using Roto Rooter again. I have always been pleased with their informative and friendly plumbers, their very reasonable pricing, and excellent plumbing services. In addition, Brian took the time to go over preventative measures so we wouldn't have to see him in the future (in a good way!). I will always recommend Roto Rooter if you need any help with plumbing!! more

Brian came and rescued us from a backed up toilet on a Saturday evening. Despite being on the weekend, he not only solved the problem, but took time to educate us regarding preventive measures we can use to keep all of our drains open and clear. more

Great Customer Service 7/11/2014

Hi, on July 7th we had Brian come to our house to fix our clogged main floor drain. He was very knowledgeable and explained the whole process to me and let me know what he was going to do to determine the problem and then took it step by step once the problem was resloved. I am glad that I called Roto Rooter to fix the problem. He also gave me tips on how to prolong this form happening again which was much appreciated!!! more

Had a technician come by to clean sewer mainline. Brian (unsure if this is right name: technician #936) came by at the scheduled time, listened to my description (water coming up the floor drain when the wash machine runs), and quickly explained his suggestion. He recommended snaking the drain and informed me it wasn't the mainline. Said it would be quick and clean and it was. He was clear about the cost. Very professional. I'd use them again. more

At about Midnight, I discovered that water was backing up my basement floor drain. I called Roto Rooter and gave them the details of my problem. Even though they were located in Minneapolis and I was in Roseville, within 10 minutes, I received a phone call from the plumber to tell me that he was on his way. When he arrived, he was very friendly and courteous. He was very careful to not make any kind of mess in my house. He worked for several hours to unclog my main sewer pipe and never became frustrated. I was very pleased with Roto-Rooter and would definitely call them again for any plumbing problems. more

This company is dependable, efficient, and affordable. I liked the online scheduling option -- makes everything very convenient. We had various issues that needed to be addressed -- a basement floor drain (laundry room issue) and two toilets that weren't flushing properly. The tech (Brian) did a good job of explaining the problem, pricing, and various options. We will definitely use again! more

My 4 year old flushed a wad of tape down the toilet and the drain was clogged. Roto rooter came quickly and fixed it. I was so happy how they estimated and explained everything upfront and even offered suggestions to help keep it from getting clogged in the future. Will definitely call again in the future. more
