I've been without water all week waiting for my homeowner's insurance to figure out whose condo was responsible for polybutylane leak. After no success, I finally called Roto Rooter and they were out in about 40 minutes. Have used them before and I always get fast and efficient service. Can't express the relief to finally have running water again. 110% satisfied! ! more

Lost power due to the ice storm. Luckily got the last generator locally. Roto-rooter was at my home within a half hour after I purchased the generator. Mike, Fantastic! Roto-rooter is lucky to have Mike. He worked very hard, he was a true professional. Mike unclogged my drain and prevented the water in my basement from getting into my oil burner and well pump. more

A Roto-Rooter plumber came to my rescue this morning, Sunday, January 29, 2012 In Wilmington DE. I woke up to discover that my toilet was clogged. After spending 30 minutes trying to plunge and snake the drain it was time to call a professional plumber. The first plumber I called wasn't available until the next day. Since I live in a bungalow with only one bathroom I needed my toilet fixed right away. When I called Roto-Rooter they said they could send some one out to my house within two hours with no extra charges for being a Sunday. They then called back 10 minutes later stating some one would be to my house in one hour. I had the pleasure of having Jemal (#75-1535) as the service tech. He arrived on time and was very professional, courteous and clean. Jemal was very thorough and unclogged the toilet quickly only to discover the pipe further down became clogged. He worked the entire time (approx 2 hrs) and kept me informed of what he was doing and the cost. I was very pleased with the service I received and would definitely use and recommend Rotor-Rooter for any future plumbing problems or emergencies. One afternoon I had a huge problem. I called a compettive company and they wanted to charge before they even came out.. I called Roto-Rooter they do not do that, so I chose Roto-Rooter they were at my house with-in 2 hours.. On May 25th, 2011, a back-up in our sewer pipe caused our powder room toilet to overflow as someone was showering in the upstairs bathroom. What a mess!! *****Roto-Rooter Plumbing was fantastic ... made emergency call at 10 pm on Sunday night about basement and window wells flooding and Gary arrived around midnight. He identified what needed to happen, recommended I also call city to get them on site next morning so right team fixed problem quickly. Both Gary (#75-4700) and Matt (#75-0406) arrived early, did great job tracing lines, explaining issues, fixing additional problems that came up, working with city to get lines cleared and after full day of work the pipes, inside and outside, were cleared! We called Roto-Rooter in Wilmington DE for an estimate on our main drain that was blocked by roots. Jack (tech 4721) is a GREAT plumber and really nice guy who explained everything in detail. We had just put in a new bar sink and needed to install a faucet and connect it to a water supply. The technician who came knew exactly what needed to be done and also saw an issue we did not think about. He walked us through what was required, explained to us why we would need a pump under the sink to discharge the water. He looked at all the rough in connections we had, the set up of the bar and after a full and thorough inspection, came up with a solution. We had to have a technician come out again to give us an estimate for the same job because we did not get back to them for a couple of months. They came again, went over everything again. There was no diagnostic fee charged like many plumbers do. They were on time, did a good job and we are very happy with their services. We will gladly use them if there is a plumbing issue in future. more

I scheduled an appointment for early the next day, which I was surprised was available. Got confirmation immediately and the next day, the service tech called with the time he would be arriving. He arrived on time, made a quick diagnosis, had the parts on the truck, and was done within a half hour. WOW. Everything works fine and I'm a happy customer. more

The plumber who came out to our house (Gary) was great. We had two problems. First there was a leaking valve to the outside water spigot. Another company had come in about a year before and ""fixed"" it. What really happened is they tightened up some screws on the handle of the valve. It still leaked, plus now it was nearly impossible to turn. Gary came up with a real solution for the problem - a new valve and a handle that was easier to switch on and off. more

This is my 2nd time happily using them. This time we had a stuck bathroom sink plug. Clicked online yesterday for a mid-day visit today. Got a phone call an hour before scheduled appearance. Plumber was in and out within an hour. Wore booties over his shoes on my white carpet -- nice touch! Had the replacement part in his truck so no waiting. Pleasant visit and got the job done! Our service tech was ""Harley"". He was pleasant and knowledgeable about the problem. He did a wonderful job and with the utmost professionalism. I would definately recommend Roto Rooter to my friends. In this day and age, you never know who to trust. But, I found the pricing reasonable and the work top notch! Have used Roto-Rooter in the past. I called @ 9:30 AM on 13 July 2010. The Tech.. named Jamal #75-1535. When I explained the problem main sewer line clogged. He said no problem he would fix it up. He did, checked the drain out removed the clog. When leaving he said "" HAPPY FLUSHING "" more

I called them over for a tub drain that refused to work, ever. Sounds basic, but it proved to be a bigger job than originally anticipated. Apparently the previous owner didn't take care of the drain, and didn't really care about what all went down it. Roto-Rooter came on time, even a little earlier than they had told me, and got right to work. Even after finding the problem to be bigger than anticipated, they stuck it out and didn't leave until my drain was properly fixed. It works perfectly now, as it hasn't ever since i purchased the place. They stuck it out and got the job done, and all for exactly what he originally quoted me. Pros: Excellent Results more
