DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!! They are about the money and not your pets welfare. I've been going there for 20 years and EVERYTIME I've gone it's cost me an arm and a leg. This time I took my 10 yr old Aussie in bcuz her right side of her face under her eye was swollen. I was told it was an abscess 4th pre molar and it HAD to come out. Well I decided to call around while she took a round of amoxil which I asked to give me a prescription to take to the pharmacy and he told me it's not the same, come to find out it was EXACTLY the same thing. \r Well I found another vet with better pricing only to find out the abscess was completely unrelated to her tooth. It was related to an infection that I had taken her in TWICE before over the past and he just kept giving me a powder and told me to sprinkle it on twice a day. Well he misdiagnosed it as an irritation NOT an infection. And that infection caused the abscess on her face. My poor baby would of had her tooth pulled maybe even more than one and the problem would of still been there. Please keep your pet safe and DONT TAKE THEM THERE!!!! more

My puppy has anxiety issues and rather than trying to calm him down, they had THREE people restrain him and work him up even more. They frightened the life out of him and to top it off, the woman then looked at me and said, ""You need to work on that, that's not okay."" It was not a behavioral issue, it was the lack of capabilities in handling my sweet, scared puppy. The front desk lady was snappy with me also, which I truly didn't appreciate considering I just moved here and wanted to find a good vet. Not a very warm welcome I received here! more

Not Recommended. They seem unsympathetic and primarily concerned with money. I have taken several animals here due primarily to their close proximity to my home (less traumatic for the animal, I thought)....They told me my dog needed emergency surgery or would die within a 12 hour period - they wanted $2200.00 up front or no help (they do not accept checks) - I had to open a line of credit just for the cause.....$2300.00 and 1 week later my dog came home - she only lived another 2 years - the vet which ultimately had to put her to sleep (I paid for a mobile service so she could pass in our own home on her own bed, surrounded by us) stated that her prior condition (for which I paid $2300.00) is well known to increase the chances of cancer from which my dog contracted by over 50%, and that my vet should have informed me of that risk - they NEVER told me this, and it would have directly effected my decision to have put my dog through this expensive and high-risk surgery in the first place. I have also had bad experiences with one of our cats, Fluffly. Fluffy is a Himalayan Persion that gained ALOT of weight after being spayed. As a result, she can no longer reach her ""back end"" to clean it. As a result, periodically my son and I have to shampoo her back half in the sink with Johnson and Johnson's Baby Shampoo. Once or twice her skin got irritated over the lack of grooming - I took her to Rossini's for some topical relief on one such occasion - the resident veterinarian tried to talk me into having my cat's tail amputated in order to allow air to get to the back ""nether"" region.... I recommend St. Julian's Cat Care in Dearborn for any feline owners - they are a vet practice dedicated to only cats and are excellent. more

After boarding my dog here for 10 days, she refused to eat the next 4 days and was generally lethargic. After the 1st day of not eating, I took here into our family vet, where a series treatments of throughout the next 4 days did not reveal any issues (blood work, Upper GI, X-Rays, IV, antibiotics...a nice ~$1000 worth of bills). Luckily she started eating on the 5th day and has since been fine. My main issue was I called Rossoni's to let them know what was going on and find out if anything had happened during her stay. They seemed real defensive and would not stop focusing on the 3 hours after we picked up the dog and not the 10 days they had the dog. After it was all said and done, Rossoni did not call or follow up on to see how she was doing, leading to believe they just didn't care, we picked up the dog and now she was our problem not theirs. We did not find the root of the problem, so I do not blame Rossoni for any mistreatment, just would not take my dog back because of their indifference towards the continued health of the animal they boarded. Not a caring place 11/21/2011

My sister has taken her cats & dogs here & I have been the one to pay her bills w/my credit card over the phone w/the Rossoni staff. My vet is in Ann Arbor, and my pit has a bone tumor & they were going to call in meds to a local vet so I didnt have to run out to Ann Arbor, so I contacted my sister & got her vets number. Well when my vet called Rossoni they said we dont know her & we are not going do this & hung up on them. What kinda vet does this?? Thanks for nothing. Not at all happy & WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS VET! Pros: null Cons: null more

Nice Vets 3/3/2011

Very caring Doctors. Staff is very friendly too. They took care of my Rottweiler & Cocker and its was like taking them to doggy massage. They do care about animals, the girl doc even cried after putting down a rabbit. Prices are high but the care is good. They even took care of my Boa too. more

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE 2/17/2009

If love your pet do your self a favor and keep them away from this sorry excuse for a vet. I took my Rott/Lab to this place for a check up and shots. While he is a big dog this vet was incompetent to say the least, I asked her to please give him a shot to calm him down. Her reply was that she didn't need to use any shot that she could handle it.\r \r When she went to look into his ears he bucked and backed away from her, I tried to calm him down and let him know that everything was going to be ok. She started to yell at me saying that his behavior was not ok and that she knew how to "break" his spirit. Well after she called in 3 nurses to assist her, I told her to stop that this was NOT going to happen and that my wife and I were leaving with our dog. She started yelling at me to step back that she was going to handle this.... Well that was about enough, I told her that if she didn't leave our dog alone and let us leave that SHE was going to need a doctor. She was trying to get her nurse more
