Ross--Just hope that you hit 10/15/2006

So you all know that you can find fantastic name-brand items at Ross for less than they would cost in a department store. The same goes for jewelry. The only problem is that you can never be guaranteed that you'll find something along your tastes. But if you are lucky, you'll be guaranteed a great deal. more

Moderate priced store, with low key items 4/15/2006

Ross Stores is a moderately priced retailer. They offer a decent selection of marked down clothes. Although, they are at a pretty decent price, the clothes seem a bit dated, and not too hip. You can get a good deal on specific items that don't matter too much, such as purses, and ties, and wallets. They offer a large reduction compared to higher clientèle based Macy's. more

Ross-dress for less, but be selective 4/14/2006

I do like to bargain shop. However, I also tend to believe the ole saying about things being too good to be true. It's something to keep in mind when shopping at Ross. I used to shop there a lot when I was a young struggling teacher. I needed some professional clothes for cheap. However, I've noticed that I do not wear the items that I buy at Ross very often. I get sucked into the it's so cheap, and it doesn't look THAT bad kind of mentality. In many ways, it's better to pay more for something high quality, because I know I will get more use out of it. more
