Their rice wasn't that great. The refried beans tasted "different". The complementary tortilla chips were stale. My husband said his Chimichanga was too oily. My enchiladas were good, 'cause the carnitas was good, but they were small. Portion wise, the food wasn't worth 12 bucks a plate. We had our baby in his stroller, and the seating areas are on a platform about two steps up, the place isn't wheelchair accessible. Oh, and the table was wiped, but the seats had crumbs all over them. After hearing so many stories about what happens to peoples food when they make complaints at a restaurant, I stopped, so I apologize for not saying anything to these people. If anybody reads this and still decides to go, and you have the courage, can you please tell them that they need to wipe the seats as well. The chilli rellenos are outstanding (the owner's mother's old family recipe) and their spanish rice is one of the few anyplace that I will eat. I think it is the best Mexican food on the island and service has always been good. Word of caution: the rellenos are so good that they often sell out, so get there early in the day (early lunch time is best) so you don't miss out. The food here is fairly similar to what you'd find on the mainland, but the service is terrible. Unless you can afford to give them a large tip they will follow you to your car and ask why you didnt tip them. NOT cool. Pros: Similar to mainland Cons: Very small, Horrible service more

Rosie's food was pretty good. I have had better Mexican. However, order their fried ice cream. I went 2 Javier's in Laguna Beach and ordered this dessert to find it was just ice cream rolled in corn flakes. No, Rosies is a huge ball of ice cream deep fried for a couple seconds, so the batter is scorching but the ice cream is freezing. Top off with choice of about 7 different toppings (pina colada) more
