Rosen Hyundai of Algonquin

I had my brakes replaced at rosen and thought the price would be 385.00 total for the front and rear brakes on a 2005 Hyundai Tucson only the job was 717.00 for both and I was chaged for 5 hours labor. I have since called 5 other Hyundai dealers requesting a quote for same repairs and was told the most expensive was Bemis at 249.00 per axle which includes resurfacing rotors and job would take 3 hrs. and the cheapest was D'Arcy in Joilet which charge 215.00 per axel and that also includes resurfacing and would take 2-21/2 hrs. Why the difference rosen? I also checked with midas and meinke and they were only 360.00 for both front and rear pads and that also included resurfacing of rotors. I tried to contact someone at rosen to see if they would discount the job, but only got put on hold and given the run around. I am not a mechanic, but I changed the fron and rear brakes on my chevy blazer using a floor jack in two and half hours. I don't understand rosen and will never return there unless someone contact me regarding this. more

My experience at Rosen Hyundai in Algonquin was actually quite enjoyable. I printed an ad from the dealer's website (with a price I thought was too low), and expected to run into problems, as was the case before at other dealers. But this place was nice, and my salesperson was helpful and friendly, and made the car buying experience actually nice...hard to say the same for other car dealers. Will buy here again!
