The only reason to go to the Roseland would be if they had booked a particular concert you just had to see. The place itself has no redeeming value; as a matter of fact it can be quite disgusting. The building is run down and the facilities are always dirty and unsanitary. Depending on the event, it can be difficult to get to the bar, see the stage or dance to the music.
In every experience I have had there, the bathrooms were truly repulsive, the lighting horrible, the balcony crowded and smoky, and the dance floor packed with rough inconsiderate dancers. While, there have been some great performers there, I only go if there is no other option.
