I am former employee of 4 years! 6/14/2010

I am a previous employee and before I was an employee, I was also a client. I was so impressed with the hospital and pet resort that I continued to take my animals to Rose Rock. I am a HUGE animal advocate and am know a great deal more after working under Dr. Beverly Fritzler and her vet. techs., and other members of the staff. So, I know FOR A FACT how compassionate, caring, and educated they are. Or, I would have NEVER worked for them, if not the case. I love and trust this clinic/ hospital more than any other. I have lived in Florida since, and now reside in Ohio. I have yet, to meet any other Vet. that compares. I know that she is on top of her toes, even when it came to the boarding facility. Please don not let any person with a bad rating, sway you. There's usually more to the story than what is posted on here. more

Avoid Rose Rock Veterinary Hospital and Naomi Watts 11/2/2009

Avoid. The Vet (Naomi Watts) at this clinic must work on commission. I took my dog in twice. She sent my dog home with an antibiotic - she barely looked at my dog but charged hundreds of dollars. She recently graduated from OSU and has limited experience. My dog ended up at the emergency clinic near death because of Naomi Watts poor treatment. 2009. more

Ro$e Rock Veterinary Ho$pital $$$$$$ 9/30/2009

All they care about is getting paid. DMV Naomi Murray, ran test on my dying 12 yr old Lab. She wanted to make sure of how we would pay, and asked me to agree to payment before she treated my dog. Three hundred dollars later we learned he had a tumor on his prostate. She kept promoting more expensive test to see what it was, and showed no concern for our situation. My dog came home that night and only got worse. The next day, I had to put him down. We felt like we were just the next patient pushed through. I have two more dogs and will never go back to Rose Rock again. Also, I paid the $300 when I picked my dog up. They should be happy! more

Rose Rock Veterinary Hospital is not great 9/20/2009

I agree with a previous review. They have progressively gotten worse with customer service and quality. They groomed my Persian cat and cut her several times, including cutting her nipple off and a chunk of her ear! Then when we picked her up they had lost our crate and claimed we didn't bring one. After going up there three times we finally got our crate back. We didn't have to pay for the grooming but were still very dissatisfied with this place. more

Great Place to Take Your Pets 8/27/2009

I have been a Rose Rock client for about three years now - boarding, grooming, vaccinations, emergencies, surgeries. My shihtzu and I recently moved from Norman to the NW side of Oklahoma City, and it wasn't until now that I realized what a great veterinary clinic Rose Rock is. While they're often very busy at RR, and sometimes you have to wait a while for service, I haven't found another place that genuinely cares about my baby like RR. He underwent two different surgeries with the doctor and both were very well done and we have never had any complications. Our new vet even complimented me on how little scarring my dog had from his cherry eye correction. I do understand the complaints others have had about wait time, but I know the employees mean the best and truly care about the welfare of animals. I wish I lived closer to RR so I could continue to take my dog there! more

Our Sincerest Apologies 8/6/2009

Carin A., I would like to apologize for the experience you had at Rose Rock Veterinary Hospital. The management is very concerned about your experience because we genuinely care about your pet. If we have staff, including doctors, that did not treat you with the utmost concern, we would like to know about it. Our goal is to provide you and your pet with quality, caring, and professional service. We apparently let you down. Please call us so we can discuss what happened. We take these matters very seriously and would like to get additional information. We would also like to apologize personally. Please contact either Crystal, Practice Manager, or Dr. Fritzler. more

Rose Rock Veterinary Hospital is not a place that I would recommend 8/5/2009

"Not Impressed" is a mild description of the service that I experienced at Rose Rock Vet. Can't remember the male Dr that I saw during an emergency visit with my cocker who was suffering seizures (My Vet was out of town at the time). My pet was seizing so bad that she threw up in the waiting area. The staff at the front desk just stood there and starred at us like they were absolutely "dumbfounded" at the sight. When we finally got in to see the Dr. he was worse. He just shot up my dog with Valium and stood there with a stupid grin on his face like that was supposed to have been the magic cure. I mean - that's all he offered. I believe his words were "good luck". I would pretty much describe him as incompetent as was his staff. I would not recommend this clinic to any pet owner. It may be a nice facility, fancy bill boards outside, etc - but that doesn't make up for the incompetent staff inside caring for your pets. more

bad news 1/15/2009

Brought many pets here in the past year. Started out as very nice people, very helpful and very caring. Thousands of dollars spent. Staff got progressively worse, nasty and patronizing. Last time we had pets in there for a bath, they were there 7 hours and when we picked them up, they were soaking wet. One had his back shaved like a reverse mohawk! Had to spend $60 at another place to make him look decent. That was the last straw. more

Awesome vet clinic!!! 7/23/2008

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are professional and knowledgeable, and can answer any question you ask. The facility is very clean and smells alot better than most vets. Definitely a five star hospital!!! more

Not Impressed 6/19/2008

Our kid was sick and we didn't have time to take her to Tulsa, so we choose this vet. I wasn't very pleased with the service I was given. The vet was making recommendations for my pet and wasn't addressing the issues as to why I was there for. I don't want to be told she may need surgery on her nose, when the real reason I'm there is b/c of a UTI issue. I wouldn't go back. Their prices are a bit steep too. more
