Rose Nails

I stopped into Rose Nails the night before Valentines Day around 7pm. I honestly thought that they would be busy, but there wasn't anyone else in the salon. I didn't realize that they closed at 7:30 or I would have left, but they took me as a client.\r \r Big mistake. I was getting a refill of my acrylic nails, and one of my nails was almost completely off. The guy who did my nails rushed through the process, and after he had filed down my old nails, he took out the acrylic and was about to start. I stopped him and reminded him that the acrylic on one of my nails was about to come off. He took out his nail clippers and said ""you want me to clip them?"" and then he lifted the acrylic and it completely came off. \r \r I've gotten my nails done plenty of times, and it's standard practice for them to clip at the edges of the acrylic to make sure that there's a good seal on the nail before putting fresh acrylic on. I can't believe that he was just going to put fresh acrylic on my nails without even checking.\r \r He completely rushed through my refill and I think he overcharged me. Usually refills are only $15, but he charged me $20. I'm just glad that they only took cash tips and I couldn't put anything on my credit card, because I really would have kicked myself if I'd tipped him.\r \r It's now less than a week later, and the acrylic is already separating from my nails and one of my nails is chipped. I've gone to magic nails in the north gate mall and gotten better work and service. \r \r I will never go back to rose nails. more

I've been to Rose Nails many times and they are consistently good and reasonably priced. They also have a steady stream of loyal customers. They are very skilled. I highly recommend them. more

I've been to Rose Nails two times. Both times my nails have looked pretty good afterward (always got manicures). The manicures seem to last but I don't think the service is really that great for the price. In fact, my last manicure seemed very rushed. She did the ENTIRE service in less than 10 minutes. She did not take her time applying the nail polish or the topcoat, so I wonder how long my manicure will last. It seemed like they don't really care about if you make an appointment; they just want to get as many people in and out as possible.... I found Rose's nails to be a great place. My daughter and her friend had their nails painted and decorated . Shortly after we left, both girls smeared their nails while biking home. (not a good idea to bike after getting a manicure) We returned to Rose's nails and they fixed it for NO CHARGE! They were very polite to the girls and we had a good experience. We especially like Charlie and Tony. They're the best. Pros: location, price, clean, good service more

I went to Rose Nails today to get a fill, I currently have Gel Nails the liquid kind in pink and white. Prior to going to Rose Nails I called ahead to make sure that they did the Pink and White in the Gel as many places do not. The lady on the phone assured me they did so I was on my way over. When I got there the lady took out the Acrylic powder and I asked her to please use the liquid pink and white gel. She looked at me like I was crazy and then said we do not do here but I can do. So I assumed that meant she knew how to do it. She started to do my nails and being that I have had them done so many times I could tell right away she had no idea what she was doing. So I asked her and she said no she did not know but she was going to see what she could do. She had already started to apply the pink gel or I would have just left then but I couldn't at this point. So she continued and when I asked her what she was doing and if she was going to do this or that next since I knew what the process should be she lied to me to say she was going to do it but then she would do something completely different. She completely screwed up my nails and then made excuses for why she messed them up. I will never ever go here again. Pros: Location Cons: Unprofessional, they lie to you, terrible nails more
