Come here a few times and the food is scrumptious - from the thai salad, summer rolls, curries, coconut rice, etc. Everything here is so yummy and the prices are quite reasonable ...

Yummy Thai Food 7/13/2009

I always order from this Thai restaurant. The prices are reasonable and they usually deliver within a half hour. Their Pad Thai with Tofu dish is delicious! Chicken Tamarind is also a favorite of mine. Lots to choose from and just thinking about it is making me hungry. Gonna order right now! STAT! Pros: Good food, fast delivery more

Great neighborhood Thai place 5/17/2009

Come here a few times and the food is scrumptious - from the thai salad, summer rolls, curries, coconut rice, etc. Everything here is so yummy and the prices are quite reasonable where 2 people can have a delicious, filling meal for under $30! I can't wait to go back, but it does get a bit crowded for dinner. Pros: The dishes are so yummy! Cons: A bit small, crowded late nights more

Great Food! 2/10/2009

This place has great food and pretty good service as well. The setting is loud but is also fit for a dinner of two. I highly recommend this place! It's cheap too especially the lunch menu!! more

Excellent Thai Food! Great service! A+++ 4/4/2008

Thai Terminal (used to be called Room Service) has the best Thai food! Absolutely delicious, tasty, made with fresh ingredients, and it's actually made on the spot (instead of it being pre-made and nuked). Other Thai restaurants should take note! I ordered the Crab & Shrimp rolls as an appetizer and Pad Kee Mao as my main dish, both were absolutely delicious! My friend ordered the Chicken Satay and Pad See Yoo, both made to perfection, with real vegetables. Every dish had so much taste.\r The waitress was so polite, helpful, friendly and they offer the utmost service. The restaurant is small, but sleek and cozy! Highly recommended restaurant!!!!\r Pros: Delicious Thai Food! Excellent customer service! Great value for your $$~! Cons: Nothing! more

ONE OF THE BEST DINING EXPERIENCES I'VE EVER HAD!!!!! 2/20/2008

THIS PLACE IS FABULOUS!! First let me tell you that the name has changed to Thai Terminal although the name Roomservice remains on their website and on City Search. The new name really fits because it looks like you're in a really chic airport terminal. The menu looks like a boarding pass..really cute. One thing to mention is that this a very small place, it's very intimate but it's very cozy (can hold up to 25 pp maybe a few more ?).We found this restaurant on City Search, when we read the other great reviews we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed ..NOW FOR THE DETAILS ..We just had a birthday party celebration there last night (2/20/08) and everything..I mean everything - atmosphere, service, appetizers, drinks, main course entrees and dessert was top notch!!! Try to get as many different menu items as you can (if you're in a party of 5 or more) there's nothing you won't like. Here's our picks from the menu: The chicken and shrimp dumplings, the veggie dumplings (we had three orders) and the chicken satay (which is also great as a salad). Pad Thai (any kind), Garlic Salmon, Red Snapper, Basil Chicken, any fried rice and for dessert the fried Vanilla ice cream. The presentations were beautiful and the service was excellent, the Owner Ae took special care of us and treated us as if we were the only ones there and I must say, Miss Ae must have known we were coming because the cd that was playing was HOT. We had to stop a few times, raise our glass and sway from side to side. (LOLOL) The food was perfect and the prices were fantastic. The Appetizers ranged from $3- $5.00, Salads: $4- $7, Entrees $8-$14.00. Where can you beat that?? Try it you won't be sorry. If you don't its okay with us because it has officially become our new hot spot! Pros: Eveything Cons: It's a little small if you want a large dinner party but hey just rent out the whole space! more

Absolutely delicious Thai food! 6/13/2007

roomservice is absolutely the best Thai food restaurant I have ever been to in Manhattan. The dishes are prepared with the utmost care, with the freshest ingredients, never greasy, always with attention to taste and health in perfect harmony. Panang curry or Drunkboy noodles will have your tastebuds singing, but also be sure to try the interesting chef's specials. Cocktails are yummy (sake mojitos!) and even more exquisite is the dessert (we had a chocolate hot molten cake with ice cream, the chocolate was so dark and rich, mmmmm!). Now the service, the waitstaff are excellent and so nice to you, unlike attitudes at other restaurants, none of that here, these people truly love the quality of what the chef produces and it shows. The restaurant is sleek, like a 1960's airplane in all white, with always interesting music. more

Great price, great food 11/30/2006

I can't say I've been to Thailand, but I've recently become addicted to this place. The prices are really great, but more importantly, the food is delicious! Try their tom yum soup and tofu fried rice, it's the best I've had in the city so far. Delivery is very quick as well, highly recommended. Pros: Great service, great food, great ambience more

One of The Best Thai Restaurant in Manhattan!!! Don't confuse w/the one in Chelsea... 8/17/2006

As a Native Thai who lives in NYC for more than 15 years, I have seen the flourishing of Thai restaurant business in New York recently. Most of authentic Thai restaurants are still in Queens. But now since there are so many of them in NYC, there are some good ones emerging among the ""so-so"" quality. \r \r Roomservice is one of them. I grew up in Thailand. No matter how long I live here, my taste palette never change. This Roomservice is not related to the one in Chelsea at all so please don't mix up. My favorite appetitzer is Chive Pancake and Fish Cake. For the main courses, I highly recommend; Duck Tamarind, Pad Thai, Egg Noodle w/Shrimp Curry (Khao Soi) and Drunken Noodle. There are lots of things that I haven't tried. Almost everything here is very authentic like in Thailand. I can tell that the chef cooks by heart and he is talented. Lots of chefs in Thai restaurants here do not have this gift and some of them come from other career background. \r \r I am so happy that finally there is a Thai restaurant which is close to my house, so delicious, so affordable and makes me miss Thailand less. Give it a try and you will be a fan like me! Pros: Very Good Value, So Delicious, So Affordable more

surprisingly good 8/8/2006

The trendy decor (reminiscent of Sea and other sleek Thai places in the East Village and Williamsburg) made me think it would just be okay, but everything was *delicious*-- I eat meat as well, but the Vegetarian Duck Basil and Drunkman Noodles were sumptuous. & the prices were really good. I asked for extra spicy dishes, and they approached Thailand (and the Thai enclave restaurants deep in Queens, enar the Thai temple there) without being greasy. I don't understand why it's not more popular-- It's pretty cheap, and more than worth it. more

Exceptional Thai with authentic, tasty food in slick modern surroundings. 7/7/2006

This place is exceptional. Having experienced the increasingly rude and really nothing special Holy Basil down the road we just wanted good Thai food and this is perfect. Inside their slick all white candlelit room the menu is varied. Fish cakes are authentic, curries are superb, noodles are tasty you can even get real Thai sticky rice! Dont let the healthy slant put you off, its all good! With a small but decent wine and beer list, speciality drinks and a sake menu you really dont need anything else. We dont visit as often as we would like but even so they always remember us oh and did I mention it is a bargain too! Recommended Massamum curry, Duck Tamarind and Chicken Satay salad. Pros: Good varied menu at decent prices. more
